I think he will try to declare Martial Law. The people will hit the streets soon, there will be agitators, they will cause destruction and Felonious will use it as an excuse. He can’t wait to use it, he now has appointed a man who will “die for him”, not “we the people”, but Felonious, to command our military. He will do Felonious bidding.

Wrong, again, Caine has to come back onto active duty, and he does not meet the legal requirements for the top post, the chairman must have served as a combatant commander or service chief, which Caine has done neither

Last time, a Commander in Chief picks those individuals best suited for the job based on past performance and experience, not on how fast they can kiss the President’s ass, Trump’s appointees excel in the latter, but lack the first. Caine isn’t even in the military, never reached the rank of full General, and has never served in anything close to a combatant commander or service chief.

Wrong again, even the E1 starting in the military takes that pledge, and the President has the responsibility to honor that pledge by putting the best qualified personnel in command positions to defend the nation and not employ fidelity to the President as the key qualification
