Who he owes money to and makes money from, is our business. Money is what motivates Trump, the only thing.
 
I think its likely they give the taxes to the NY prosecutor, but not Congress.

Some in Congress have already seen the returns, but because its a separation of powers issue, they MIGHT side with Trump*.

I am sure the drunk rapist will side with Trump* no matter what, I dont know Gorsuch will do, he is true to his politics so he might rule against Trump*.
 
SCOTUS just ruled 7-2 that Trump's taxes should be turned over to the Grand Jury.

A win for Democracy.

Here is the thing, while todays ruling means the Taxes will eventually be released, I am pretty sure Trump can run the clock until after November, don't expect the prosecutors to get the Tax returns until 2021.

That said, if there are real crimes in those returns, Trump should be shitting bricks.

The thing you said that I took issue with was, "If the law is on the side of Congress, why is SCOTUS involved?"

The SCOTUS gets involved in all sorts of cases where the law supposedly is on the side of Congress. The job of the SCOTUS is to determine who's side the law is actually on.

Soon, the SCOTUS will rule...and when it does, THAT will be the side the law is on.

I've already given my guesses.
 
I've been involved in fraud cases, they are usually pretty simple. Loan application says "I am rich" contemporaneous tax return says "I am poor"
The rest is obfuscation. Experts see right through it. The numbers speak. The red flags speak. The lower downs start talking for immunity.

There are real crimes in the returns, and in the other evidence that Vance has. I'd bet the house. From a political standpoint, these rulings mean very little, but from a practical standpoint there are vital to the rule of law. At the end of the day, Trumps taxes, if made public, would not sway a single one of the cult members. For God's sake, Trump bribed a foreign government to help him win an election, and they didn't care. If he committed financial crimes, they would laugh it off. Trump is going to lose either way. This just makes it much more likely that a prison cell is waiting on him.
 
Trump lost the cases but his delaying things so long will keep them in the dark until the election is past. Trump is crying like a baby because he really thinks he is above the law.

I wouldn’t say he lost, probability of his tax returns coming out prior to the election are nil, and afterwards, he will tie everything up in the Courts once again, delaying it endlessly, filing motions on every detail, even what gets returned to the NY Grand Jury. The SCOTUS gave him a major punt

And what difference does it make, billy barr will have the final say on what gets investigated and prosecuted regarding Trump and we all know he is going to defend Trump even if Trump did pull off the murder on 5th Avenue
