Presidential candidates ALWAYS release their returns. And it was no big deal when Trump was asked about it during the campaign - he said he'd release them as soon as all of the big "audits" were done. Easy.

Now, he's raging - because he got caught in another lie.

You're projecting in the post above. The only reason you're arguing to keep them private is because it's Trump. YOU don't care about the principle. That's actually the 1st rule of the cult. It's like not talking about fight club.

I don't care about anyones tax returns. Never have. As I said, it was just a ruse by career politicians to keep businessmen like Trump out of politics. That you think you will find anything illegal in his taxes is ludicrous because then you would have to conclude that Obama's IRS fucked them up for 8 years. Or the state of New York missed it for all of these years.

You are the one playing politics not me.
 
Al Capone was one of the nation's worst and most dangerous criminals. Well, up until Donald Trump came along anyway.

The problem was the police were about as corrupt as he was at the time, as they were invaluable and untrustworthy in the courts.

So the only easy way to get him behind bars was to expose his tax fraud and prosecute him for that!

Donald Trump will probably go down the same way!

The SCOTUS gets involved in all sorts of cases where the law supposedly is on the side of Congress. The job of the SCOTUS is to determine who's side the law is actually on.

Soon, the SCOTUS will rule...and when it does, THAT will be the side the law is on.

If he did do something illegal...shouldn't we know? What is he hiding?

I actually don't think that's it. I think he's embarrassed about how little he gives to charity.

If the goal was to delay the release of the taxes until after November, Trump won. If the goal was to prevent prosecutors from reviewing his taxes, trump lost.

I am under tax audit. I have been for a long period of time. Once I ran for politics that deal was like didn't make it. So I am under continuing audit and anyone who did that or showed that before you have it finalized,but they treat me horribly, the IRS. It is a disgrace what has happened. We had a deal done, I guess it was signed even. Once I ran or once I won, somewhere back a long time ago everything was like let's start all over again."
The IRS has not even responded to questions about whether he is really under audit. They have not released a scintilla of Trump's tax information. And he talks about them treating him badly. What a big and stupid baby he is.
