If I had done the same action while drunk I would be charged with that too. I am comparably inhibited by my sleeplessness. Better pass some legislation to deal with this important issue.

Sure I can .. There is no risk-free level of exposure to second hand smoke

And if you have a maid that works in your apartment, you've exposed her to your poison.

If you have children in your apartment, you've exposed them to your poison.

Ant exposure to your poison has risks for those who breathe it.

You do not have rights to the lives of other people.

well then they should make a law about banning second hand smoke to children and maids. not banning smoking

Didn't you read the statistics of the health risks that are associated with smoking? How does one in any sense of consciousness, defend the right to cause damage to someone else's health, and in some cases, to the health of their own children? How does that occur?

This demonstrates the fallacy and disconnect from reality of those who claim to fight for "personal freedom" and what is legally or constitutionally correct.

It's saying fuck the lives of other people and fuck children .. I have a right to poison them. The Constitution says it right here ...

I have never smoked cigarettes in my life. It smells like it would taste nasty and I have no clue why those who smoke do so. I've also never been drunk in my life because alcohol tastes horrible and I've never liked the way drunks looked, smelled, or acted.

Your defense of poisoning other people needlessly is curious. Sounds like you're the smoker, not me.

Let's talk about the known dangers of smoking and we can get to obesity and drinking later.

Cigarette smoking poisons other people and you're telling me that doesn't matter because there are fat people in the world.

Let's have a grown-up conversation about cigarette smoking .. but I'm sure you already know that it's a conversation you will lose .. so let's talk about fat people.

But doesn't that say something to you? You're not proud to be a smoker and I'm sure you recognize the dangers to your own health that is at risk.

Forget about the legalities or the constitutionality .. how about the health of other people?

Does your spirituality allow you endanger the health of others without any consequence to your own being? .. I would guess that answer is no. I would imagine that if you really looked at the medical evidence and considered the risks to yourself and well as the danger to others, including children, you would be standing on this side of the fence with me.

As I've said, I don't smoke cigarettes and I'm not around those who do, but I consider the danger others, particularly children, are in because of smoking.
