People pay their taxes, and that gives the vocal majority of tax payers and voters the absolute right to decide how they want that money used.

We the people decide what we want, and how our tax dollars are spent.

That's about right on as it can get kudzu. Americans have never been able to even grasp the concept that capitalism without social responsibililty by government (or socialist policies) is just greedy capitalism that has led to the shitty lot in life of the ordinary American.

Trump actually promised to make that different too, but then nobody thought to understand that he's a corporate psychopath himself. His reign of terror is going to come crumbling down and it's not going to be pretty. His followers have a bone in their teeth now and they're not going to be able to understand that it's all Trump's fault.
 
Universal healthcare is the only answer. It is much cheaper and, covers everyone. It works fine in other countries, while our system is broken and unfair. We could eliminate the VA, Medicare, Medicaid and the cost we pay for insurance now. If you believe in capitalism, it removes providing healthcare by companies. Theoretically, making them more competitive.It would be nice to know that an accident or illness will not bankrupt your family. Good to know that you can change jobs without being terrified by being uncovered for the waiting period. You can take a shot at starting your own business without going without healthcare while you are trying,. It is a much more civilized way to live.

My insurance costs me nothing in premiums as it is part of my compensation. The max out of pocket I will pay in a year is $750. What you propose WILL costs me more and that is unacceptable.

If you like what's working elsewhere, pick a country and get the fuck out of here.

As for who is covers, I don't give a shit whether you have it or not. That's your responsibility not mine.

I have no problem being in society. That doesn't require me to provide things to people that refuse to provide them to themselves.

Perhaps you don't understand what "as it is part of my compensation" means or you choose to ignore that part. My employer offers it to me because I provide to them something they deem valuable enough to do so. You want those that provide nothing to society and for the most part place a drain on it to get something for nothing the rest of us earn. If you can't see the difference, there is no help for you.

That they are consumers means they're getting something they chose to buy at a price they apparently felt was worth the cost. In the end, that doesn't change that I earn what I get unlike the good for nothing, drain on society freeloaders like the cunt in front of me last night in the grocery line. 3 kids she couldn't support but chose to have by making a choice with her body that she now demands the taxpayers feed.

Those who get insurance from work do pay for it. It is part of your compensation package. If the company gets rid of that cost, you can get a raise to compensate. So you will make more money.
I worked in a place that had insurance, but my wife's was better. I told them I do not need it and they folded the price into my wage.;
