BTW, more time has passed between us in 2020 and the Civil War than between the Revolution and the 1927 Depression. Think about it. Why is this single event so much more important to Americans on both sides of the equation in April 2020, than to those in 1930 over the American Revolution? Did Americans still hate the Brits in 1930?

I think its too early to tell yet since it's dependent on a number of factors; testing, social distancing, preventative measures, etc. I think perhaps by the summer (and I'm only guessing) we might have a better handle on whether or not the curve is flattening but I do agree that deaths will continue for the foreseeable future.

Bullshit. OTOH, there are a lot of gutless hacks who scream this isn't worse than the flu or is a fake virus yet refuse to commit themselves saying there will be less COVID deaths than flu deaths. Can you read? The question was will there be more or less than 62 K deaths by-election. It did not say do you hope there will be more or less?. It is numbers, not emotions. There are over 40 K now. That would suggest, without hoping, that 62 will be passed.
Of course I can read. I made an observation of those who voted in this poll, and how. I do not believe we will experience 1/3 more deaths in this country from the China flu alone, but I sometimes remain skeptical, as my vote represents.
You understand that voting in an online poll kills no one? The people that are dying are dying from the virus, and not an online poll.
That doesn't mean liberals aren't wishing for more deaths to help derail Trump's chances for reelection. Everything else has failed for you.
