VERDICT!

I wouldn't be....I've said all along that Zimmerman isn't a monster....he just made some really bad decisions that night.....but....so did Trayvon.

That's why it's such a sad situation all around. An event that never should have happened.

Tragic situation all the way around.

I didn't think there was enough evidence to find him guilty - but I sure don't like that atmosphere of celebration in some quarters. After all - an innocent kid was killed.

You were doing good until you said "an innocent kid was killed".

He was an attacker, he was no kid at seventeen, he was a young man.

There is no celebration from the adults, only from the trolls .......

It was a tragedy all around and will remain a tragedy....if Z wasn't armed and talking to the cops at the time, he could very well be one in the morgue...with no suspects to accuse.

What law ?.....self defense is the law of the United States, not just Fla.

Get a grip.

Get a grip? I am not upset in the least. Nothing changed. The same statements would have been true if they had found him guilty.

The law needs to be clearer that you have a duty to retreat in the case where you provoke someone. You should not be free to piss someone off in a way that any reasonable person might expect a physical response and then hide behind a gun.

By the same token, if Zimmerman would have followed NW protocol, Martin would be alive and Zimmerman never would have gotten arrested.

I'm wondering if all the liberals would be saying the same thing, about there are no witnesses and Zimmerman killed the only other person that could truly say what happened, if Trayvon had succeeded in his assault on Zimmerman and it was Zimmerman who had died?

Since when did being pissed of give anyone the right to assault someone; because I'd like to see that law.
There are a few posters on here that I would like to be able to use that defense with.

Which means that no murder was committed and there is no murderer, in this case.

OJ is not a murderer?

Nope. It means Zimmerman is not a convicted murderer. He will always be a murderer.

I honestly have a suspicion the psychopath will find his way into a cell soon.

Just curious by your definition is someone in the military or a police officer who kills a murderer or is the definition apply only to someone in a non-sanction job position?

OJ was found not guilty and whether people agree or not, he's not a murderer.
Zimmerman is not a murderer, no matter how may times you wish it were true.

Sorry buy you're guilty of unreasonable expectations. Mr. Zimmermans innocence is not under consideration of the standard by which our law operates by. The jury determined reasonable doubt existed. End of story. Get over it. The very fact that Mr. Zimmerman was brought to trial satisfies me.

To be honest with you.....If there had been an actual witness to the confrontation and killing I think Mr. Zimmerman would be singing a different tune tonight but that's not how it worked out. So be it.

If any good does come from this I hope that it is that community watch leaders learn from this experience and dedicate themselves to improving their screening methods so that they can detect and eliminate morons, like Mr. Zimmerman.

I know with everything that's been going on, that you may have missed the questions on the other posts; but could you please show where Zimmerman was told to stay in his car and not follow Trayvon?

Thanks ever so much.

That's crap. What a rediculous ascertion. How could anyone possibly know that? OJ and Mr. Zimmerman may not be convicted murderers but how can you possibly know if they were murderers?

The only thing either verdict proved was that the standard of reasonable doubt was not met. That's the only thing that has been proven.

And without anything, other then your opinion, they are not murderers.

Not following on this one. The OJ trial was whether he killed two people or not. Zimmerman admitted he shot and killed Trayvon. That wasn't a question. Obviously it was whether it was a matter of self defense or not.

And since the jury found him innocent of murder, it is a safe assumption that they found it was self-defense.

Innocent or not guilty? There is a difference....especially when the only other person who knows what happened fully is dead. I mean hell.....good for Zimmy....he beat yet ANOTHER rap...
