No one that actually paid attention to the trial should have been shocked here.

This case should never have been brought, and as I said one year ago, it was overcharged. Everyone said otherwise, but once people started seeing the case crumble like wet tissue paper, only the truest of mouth breathers were thinking anything other than manslaughter.

The defense did more than get not guilty, they methodically proved zimmermans innocence. This is a GREAT day. Justice has been done. THe violent criminal is in the grave where he belongs, and the person that put him there is a free man.

So....you're taking Zimmerman at his word.... not even applying a bit of skepticism. OK...but...

It could be that an overzealous NW guy overstepped his bounds, went looking for trouble....found it in a young man who was worried for HIS safety and the overzealous NW guy killed the fearful young man....then lied his ass of to save his skin.

You don't know for sure....I don't know for sure. George does...Trayvon does....and God does.

Like I said....good for George....he skated a third felony.
 
I struggled a lot. I had to read and hear so many idiots say the most uneducated things. People that didn't understand what reasonable doubt was. People that didn't understand that getting out of your car is not illegal, that the only one that did anything illegal was trayvon martin. If the police arrived before the gunshot there is no doubt trayvon would have been in cuffs.

I struggled for so long, knowing my day of justice would come. I was resolute. My faith in our system was unrelenting. I knew that no matter what some of you idiots would say, that in the end, I would be vindicated. That day is now. That no matter what, one day I would be able to simply say "not guilty" to whatever idiotic thing you wanted to say. Lets try it out:

Not guilty.

Damn that feels good to type.

Oh did you say something else patently stupid?

Lets ask what the jury thinks, I don't want to hear you anymore...

Oh yeah, still "not guilty.''

I guess you have to hold on to something, in the wake of this utter decimation. It was only a week ago you still thought 2nd degree was in play. Jury blew by that in hours most likely, maybe minutes.

Where did they find in favor of justifiable homicide? Not guilty was the verdict. Like I said, I am okay with that and I don't think it is unreasonable.

That doesn't mean I agree he's not guilty.

Defeat??? I had nothing to do with this trial. It was not about me. It was all about you. Any news on who they are getting to play you in the movie?

Oh....don't get me wrong.... I am not disputing the verdict.... I am even very willing to admit that the whole thing went down exactly as Zimmerman said it did....but I'm also not ruling out that he may be lying.

Someone brought up Casey Anthony in these threads....Howey, I believe....she's not guilty too....but I have doubts on her "innocence" as well.....because what happened and what can be proved are two different things.

Zimmerman killed in non-self-defense, taking advantage of a non-self-defense law, which allowed him to commit an unjustifiable homicide. There is no such thing as justice, and it certainly doesn't exist in this world. We do not have a justice system, we have an injustice system, which puts good people in prison and let's people like Zimmerman roam the streets.

Proving manslaughter consists of two elements:

1. Trayvon Martin is dead

2. Zimmerman did an intentional act or acts that caused the death.

*both those elements clearly happened*

The only reason they cannot find manslaughter, is because of justifiable homicide. You may read about it in the jury instructions.

Unless you can find something that shows such was necessary, it's not needed; except in your fevered mind and your feelings of a lack of revenge.

That does not indicate that they found it was a justifiable use of deadly force. All that is necessary for not guilty is that they have a reasonable doubt or that his act MAY have been a justifiable use of deadly force. They are not sure he is a murderer.
