The woman wasn't simply "driving away." The video doesn't show her actions prior to the officers approaching her vehicle. According to what I've seen, she attempted several times prior to that to block ICE vehicles from leaving the scene. My thinking is, upon seeing several police moving towards her vehicle and shouting at her to get out of it, she panicked and tried to flee the scene knowing, at that point, she was likely to be arrested rather than hailed a hero for resisting ICE.

For her, this was just one stupid decision after many stupid decisions.
