if you were that fat agitated cop and you were telling the guy you would kill him if you didn't see his hands and he goes for his seatbelt and you saw the but of the gun next to it, what would you have done?

I am 100% positive the fat cop would have shot him. it's not 100% his fault, but the militarized training and black and white thinking cops are indocrinted into since the clinton administration.

don't presume so much. yes, alot of cops become cops because they want to help people, but NOBODY is going to do that if they face lawsuits and criminal charges for mistakes..........

You didn't answer my question or address my point. An Army officer with temp tags pulls into a lighted gas station for the officers and his safety and is treated to contradictory commands. In order for him to exit the vehicle he would have had to unlock his door and release his seatbelt while a fat ass cop with his gun held like a crip says if he moves his hand out of his sight he would "ride the lightning".

Given the fact he had a legal gun by where the seatbelt clip was, that would have been a poorer choice to try to undue it with an agitated and out of control cop.


Once the officers observed the temp tags in the legally tinted window, they should have pivoted from a felony stop to a regular stop, even moreso once they saw a uniform.


had the person being pulled over had been wearing a police uniform from another jurisdiction do you really believe they would have behaved the same?

what I find depressing is the absolute devotion some of you have towards law enforcement.....what I look forward to is when enough people have had enough of your shit that they start shooting back

Look, I'm sure you went through your Military career asking "What's going on" every time an Order was given. ClownBoy should know to exit the vehicle at the very beginning, and not drag this on like he's some 13 year old taunting a school teacher.

I've been a libertarian for most of my life, I always give cops the business when I am stopped. so far none of them have drawn their weapons on me and I am far less polite when I feel the stop is illegal.

I have a right to ask why I am being detained, he has a constitutional authority to inform me. Cops should not behave poorly to "Taunting" they are professionals. his hands were out and the truck was legal, the stop was not legal and once the cops saw the legal tags not pivoting from a felony stop was the wrong move and they engaged in assault of a peaceful uniformend soldier.


it was disgraceful on their part. none of his actions warranted a felony stop or for him to be treated the way he was.
 
It is understandable that Nazario hesitated to comply with every order screamed at him, by the jacked-up cops who sounded like they put way too much sugar in their coffee, and had way too many cups.

It is impossible to comply with conflicting orders.

"Put your hands out of the window!"

"Get out of the car!"

The cop was getting increasingly agitated, not professional at all. Not listening to Nazario. This is as strong a case for deescalation training as I've seen in some time.

Here, the suspect is remaining completely calm as the officer goes near berserk with impossible orders, and even pepper-sprays the guy in his eyes. The Lieutenant is amazing that he continues to hold his hands out as his eyes are burning.

cop was fired, the other cop remains on the force. He did accurately note that he saw the temp tag and seemed to be following the other officer, my issue is like yours the conflicting orders, the death threats, etc.
