Smb, I may be on the opposite end of the political spectrum from you but I give you respect because 1) you can talk actual policy and you don't subscribe to total tribalism

I respond to intelligent discussion with intelligent discussion. That said as is obvious and unfortunate for me I have a the character flaw of getting into the gutter when other do so. I wish I could change that but it is almost a compulsion.

I always appreciate true intelligent issue debate. It is a endangered specie on the internet though.

I've done the tit for tat thing myself...and I am going to attempt to wean myself from as much of it as possible. Some is absolutely compulsory...or it is nothing more than capitulation. We cannot allow some of this crap to go unanswered in-kind...or it will be capitulation.

In the meantime...reasonable, intelligent discussion can exist alongside the gutter babble that seems to be so prevalent here.

Just another example of you being a left winger trying to caricature someone on the right as you once again show you have no understanding of economics or how markets work. People have options other than San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. If we close our market off people will go elsewhere. So long term we benefit from more affordable housing.

They have became "winners". The left attacks only those they FEAR. Can you imagine a Trump presidency with a Senate containing 60-61 republican votes...after what he has accomplished void of a single democrat vote with a virtual tie in the Senate? After 2018 and PEOPLE'S refusal to purchase the personal attacks dished out by the dems.....it will indeed be time to kick ass and take names. What a laugh , he will be long gone soon, either he will be forces to bail or he will be in jail, biggest slime ball as a politician this country has had other then the presidential candidates from the groups that support him 100% , The KKK , the Nazi party and the white supremacists.
How good has the hate party done in elections, and how will they do in the future, well here's a tip for you, there have been close to 50 special election , Of those 41 have gone from red to blue and 4 have gone from blue to red. The hate party will loose the house and the next election will lose the senate , scum bag will be dumped in 12 to 18 months. He will be presented with the evidence against him and asked to screw off and if he stays to fight it , he will be in jail.
The hate party through demographics was going to go in the history books in about 4 or 5 presidential election cycles but since we where given scum bag it will take about half that time , so they are gone in 2 or 3 presidential election cycles. Couldn't ask for a better present . My hope is they don't destroy this country before the change over.

SMDH. I shouldn't get upset because you don't know any better. A basic economics primer for you. I didn't buy at the peak. Therefore I have benefitted from the run up in prices. But our region as a whole will ultimately suffer if housing continues to act as a barrier to entry for young people. So long run we need far more development.

Being a troll with no understanding of economics or markets what you also miss is this rise in prices and inequality is a result of liberal policies towards land use and housing. But again it's not your fault. You don't know better
