Agreed! However, in today's political climate it is more difficult to be neutral.

For example, a teacher who welcomes students who are part of the LGBTQ community to their classroom during lunch because it is a safe space for the students likely be assumed to be liberal, correct?

From bell to bell it is easy to be neutral. Outside of class, when students just want to talk, is when they can figure out a teachers politics.

It is not easy to be neutral but your comment about LGBTQ + liberal treatment is incorrect. Neutral is neutral and the mark of a good teacher is salesmanship.

The right has a list of things that are wrong in school in fact literal in every aspect of life. Rules they demand everyone else should have to do, The left doesn't do that , they have their beliefs but they aren't endless negatives on people and what they can and can't do. I would demand to keep every aspect of who and what the right sells out of any school my children would be involved in. Way to much hate.

How would you direct someone to be neutral about our Supreme Court?

Not the rulings, but how the current make-up of the Supreme Court was created.

You know, McConnell refusing to hold a hearing 7 months prior to an election but allowing one 1 month prior to an election. The justices misleading about their beliefs about precedence.

Perhaps, what I learned yesterday is that being neutral is a problem. Wrong is wrong. I was blunt about violent protests and how there is no place for that. Perhaps, I should be equally blunt when 1 person hijacks a Court that takes rights away from women and has at least 1 justice looking to take more rights away.

Perhaps, at times, neutral doesn't exist. Right v wrong is obvious and that opinion should be shared for the sake of this country.

All that said, I would love to hear a neutral stance on this...

What is the opposition to the critical race theory

CRT requires one to ignore most inputs in any intellectual endeavor. If you are looking at anything through a lens focused on racism and only racism then you are not going to be able to take into account anything else and that means that whatever conclusion you draw will be inaccurate due to the lack of inputs.

It is so refreshing to see you right for a change, and putting in a wee effort too!
