The Grand Time was when people did for themselves what they should be doing for themselves. The people on the left consider anything they want that someone else earned as a right. By doing so, they have convinced themselves if someone else earned it and they didn't, those that did are somehow obligated to pay higher taxes in order that the ones that didn't earn it can have it handed to them. None of the things the left wing candidates like Hillary or Bernie say are owed to others, healthcare and college as just two examples, are rights or owed to anyone. If you want them, earn them. If you can't, tough shit.

Have you considered that the USA is the only developed nation in the world where insurance companies are allowed to make a profit selling health insurance to human beings?
The rest of the world sees this as a moral issue.

If you believe it is a moral issue, personally practice it by finding someone who doesn't have coverage and proving you really have the morals you claim and paying their premiums with YOUR money.

Sharing involves a voluntary action. You can't mandate sharing and still call it sharing.

It's the only way you'll ever have anything. Someone else has to be forced to provide it to you. I asked your mother and she said the only reason you ever had anything is because someone else had to support her bastard children.
