What's Wrong With People?

Diversity Makes Greatness
Thinking about America, it's a challenge to remain positive about our future. (But I do.)

Sadly, most Americans only care about what happens to themselves, and could hardly give two figs about what happens to the country. That part is perplexing. Don't these people have children and grandchildren? Or at least dream of having such? Don't they want their own descendants to have a good country to live in? They don't want to see it improved? That seems like the sentiment behind 'maga,' but the dedication to that is as shallow and ambiguous as the slogan itself. And so many Democrats only seem to be motivated by hatred of the right.

Where is the dedication to what IS right?

So many before us have given so much that we might enjoy this wonderful life. And how do we forward that effort? Most Americans blow it off. The collective selfishness in America is pathetic. It's all me, me, me, and I want it now, now, now.

Where are the people who value delayed gratification? Precious little of that sentiment is displayed here at JPP.

People have discounted the actual professional main stream media; and instead get their information basically from rumors on social media. The popular view these days is that institutions cannot be trusted to perform their task, and that rumors are to be more trusted. SMH!

What do we do to get people to believe in America?

Sure. Institutions have corruption. But it is not absolute. We can trust our institutions to be reliable in what they do. They have irreplaceable value. It is a huge mistake to simply shun the main stream media, or to think that government is 'the enemy.'

Our country has as much potential as any for greatness.

We have to work with what we have, make it better. It ain't perfect. There's lots to do. Don't just criticize and pooh pooh. Pick an area of interest, roll up the shirt sleeves and get to work!

Where's the actual patriotism?

It doesn't seem to be very prominent here.

Is this place Just Plain Politics?

Or is it Just Personal People.

It's a mix between mass psychosis and illusory superiority. Our failed institutions want us to believe in American exceptionalism. Jesus has a special place saved for us in heaven. Complacency has become complicity like Niemöller's poem "First they came for". All you have to do is read the Patriot Act to realize there are no human rights let alone constitutional rights.

Sheldon Wolin calls it inverted totalitarianism and Noam Chomsky calls it manufacturing consent. Anyone watching legacy media is part of the problem.

Are you actually fucking insinuating everyone in America should suffer for Biden's agenda? Fuck Off with that bullshit!

He's supposed to work for us, and he's not. He is working against us. That's the reality of right now.

I'm all for the American people. Apparently the current president and his administration are NOT. Prove me wrong!

Interestingly, a lot of the issues that have brought social collapse in the US are ones that have started on the Left.

They were made ignorant by leftists so they would be easier to control. Look how easily people rolled over about this covid bullshit.

I agree with that description of Trumpys. You have it right.

Fresh:

Survey Says: Americans Are Dumber Than a Bag of Rocks
https://redstate.com/jimthompson/20...ricans-are-dumber-than-a-bag-of-rocks-n542705

Remember too the survey that says that the average American believes that cops kill about 700 unarmed black men a year, when in the most current year the number was 13.

Americans are stunningly ignorant, to a degree that can only happen through the force of will.

BTW this idea that we need to stay quiet so that the stupid people dont feel bad about themselves has got to go, just look at where that idiotic program has gotten us.

Modesty was originally a good idea, but it has become cancerous, all the way to the point that we now very often dont speak obvious truths because we know or are afraid that other people will take offense.

Fuck That.

"Conservative Nice" has been a complete disaster for America......and these fucks never seem to wise up.
