People who believe in the real America would accept the results of a fair and certified election. They would not fight a certification after the time for objections has passed. It's a beautiful system. We allow objections to be raised after an election for a certain period of time. then, after that time has passed, if none of the objections is found to have merit, the election is certified and the country gets the certified winner of the election as the leader.

People who believe in the real America must accept the legitimacy of the election. The country has to have a leader. The country cannot function properly if we are constantly squabbling about who the leader is. We have a system that purposely forces us to move on. Everyone who believes in that system has to accept that.

The real problem is that we now have people believing such BS that they have lost faith in America.

The far right has lost faith in America.

They don't think so, but they have. Look at Bannon. He just wants to 'stir things up.'

That's code for having no faith in our system of government in America.

And that is a common sentiment on the far right. They have lost faith in America, in the main stream media, and in our institutions, number one being government.

You can't have faith in America as you oppose American government in a basic sense.

You can have faith in America and admit that government has problems that need to be fixed. But the beauty of our system and our Constitution is that the system includes the ability and means to fix things that don't work.

But that's not the same as hating government. Wanting to correct the things that aren't working is part of nurturing our government, which it surely must be nurtured.

January 6th , 21 was not nurturing.

That was people who have lost faith in America, and they don't even think so. They carried American flags. That is so messed up. Their thinking is so messed up.

And the problem is that support for extreme right thinking of the far right has become the dominant thinking of the entire right, and has their support in elections. That is a real problem for America. Because too many people have simply lost faith in our country.
 
The general consensus seems to be that Pollyanna is a broad.
I never knew for sure.
I only knew that she / he / it likes to make molehills out of mountains,
never ever appreciating how fucked up things really are.

The "beauty" of our constitution?
The constitution that configured the most inefficient form of government on the face of the Earth?
The constitution that didn't anticipate how polarized we'd become, so much so that the methods to amend it might as well not even exist?

Have people lost faith in America because they're finally starting to understand how we're a nation of people who will NEVER like one another?

they say dumb shit - like calling an equal branch - the leader. they treat presidential elections like we are voting for the king, because they want to empower a single person with that power - they want to end the republic and work more like a monarchy or oligarchy.
