What's your favorite 80's music?

Outkast is pretty good.

But that's mostly just because of Andre 3000. That guy is seriously crazy and brilliant. But he's more pop than rap.

There was a lotta trashy music in the 80s.

But there was also some great stuff. I suggest everyone listen to what Stevie Ray Vaughan recorded in that decade. Great stuff.

And yeah, rap sucks ass.

Pink Floyd (The Wall came out in 1982), GNR, U2, AC/DC, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, ....

Well, there's a few of them.

Oh shit, I had completely forgotten that The Wall came out in the 80s.

And Damo was obviously a rocker.

pixies were around in the 80's, but I don't think you can really classify them as an "80's band" or "80's music"

I was just kidding Desh. The hair bands were ridiculous. Men shouldn't wear spandex...

I was into Iron Maiden and AC/DC. And 80s alt rock. But I could never get into the hair spray or the power ballads of the cheese metal bands. Extremely lame!

To me the 80's was a barren decade musically. Not much I enjoyed or listened to regularly. The rock&roll degenerated into a wall of noise sound. The soul music not as good as the Temps, OJ's or even Ronnie and the Ronettes (except for Michael). I did like this tune.
