Where Do Confederate Monuments Go After They Come Down?

OH Mr. Bill we can't have statues that remind us of the horrors of slavery! If we get rid of them we can hide that awful part of American history. Typical liberal thinking.

expected from you. The Confederates were trying to destroy America. They were trying to rip the union apart. The statues were not about that. They were built much later as monuments to hating blacks and keeping them down. May as well have a monument for lynching and Jim Crow laws. Slavery will not be white washed. It will be remembered in books and movies. You are wrong.

Right, they fought and defended their land from people to whom you want to build monuments.

Cognitive dissonance.

I want, nor does anyone else, wish to build more monuments.
You've started by saying this is about race, and have moved the goalposts several times.
You're arguments fail. I've stated from the beginning, if you think you can remove them, you're welcome to try. I wouldn't advise it, though.

Your lack of intellect is truly noted.

LOL! The ironic thing is, you lack the intellect necessary to make such an evaluation. You're just too stupid to know otherwise.

No matter how much your whine and soil your Hello Kitty panties, keeping those statues up is honoring treason.

Something you've stated you support.

Own your own posts, biatch.

I haven't moved the goalposts at all. You're the one trying to move the goalposts to say that the Confederate monuments honor people who fought against the Confederates...or something.

My point about these racist statues stands as they're meant to intimidate black people.

So far, the best explanation you can come up with for preserving Confederate monuments is that they invaded and attacked us.

Why? If we try to remove them, what are you going to do? Are you threatening me? Fuck you, pussy.

Follow them if you like, otherwise you will wish you had.

Sounds like a passive-aggressive threat to me.

Well, you're a big fucking pussy who can't leave his house unless they take the roof off it.

So you can take your wisdom and shove it up your ass; though that might be hard to do since your head is already up there.

I think you'll find that liberals enjoy reminding Confederate apologists what losers they are

You have to first have wisdom in order to give it out.

There's no wisdom in saying you want to keep Confederate monuments around because they invaded Pennsylvania.

Your arguments run in circles and lead nowhere. My guess is that it's you who are the intellectual failure and pussy.

All I'm doing is relaying your argument back to you.

You want to preserve monuments to Confederates because they invaded Pennsylvania and lost.

So that's a completely circular and dumb position to have.

Is that right? Then why are you so hot to have them removed? Did you forget that all southerners were pardoned? No your excuses are nothing but bullshit.

Staying wrong aren't you. They were pardoned to try and make peace and unity after the war, That did not mean they were not guilty of resurrection and crimes. Pardoning does not erase what they did. It just removes future legal ramifications.

OUCH!! Those are some pretty big words coming from such a small mind

It would be nice if someone could supply evidence that black people are intimidated by statues at Gettysburg.
Flushing history down the memory hole is positively Orwellian.

Any statue to anyone who fought to keep you as a slave is intimidation. Specifically, it's institutionalized racism if it's on state/federal land, which Gettysburg is.

Will people forget who lost the Civil War if monuments to those who lost it are removed from the public space?
