Which place?

Beefy

Worst gambler ever
The problem is that they have such a hard-on for smoking out there. I may have to quit.

But I'm paying $1,718.95 for a 2 bedroom in Hell, 7th circle. I could be in Heaven for that. I cannot wait.

I'd go for whichever is closest to the beach. I loved Hawaii when I was there. If I could find a job I'd move the family there.

$2600 a month? Dude, I'm a big believer in paying a premium price to live in a beautiful area, but I think my DNA is programmed to self destruct at any rent over 2 grand.

Depends what you're in hawaii for though. Short term -- not in it for the long haul or looking to buy a house there? Might as well splurge in that case.

I'd go with the $2K townhome with an ocean view. Easily.

BTW - is this USD or Hawaian dollars? ;)

Actually, they don't use currency on the Island. They trade grains and straw hats in exchange for a hut with cable.

Hawaii is probably the most liberal, or at least the least libertarian, out of any state in the Union, MBL. You can feel happy giving your electoral votes to every Democrat in an election for the next 50 years, though, unless the Democrats start running free marketeers all of the sudden and all we're left with is conservative big governmentism.

Or that ammendment that you don't support that allows your individual to give your vote to whomever you choose - instead of whoever the majority chooses - passes.

In some ways, that is correct. In other ways, not so much.

Keep in mind, I'm moving from a socialist state (California) where I'm getting equally fucked. I'd rather get hosed in heaven than in hell.

I think i'd definately be tempted by the second one, not least as it appears to be offering a free peacock. I'd wager thems peacocks is tasty eatin'

Great place to visit. Wouldn't want to live there. It's too small. I'd get Island fever. You could never really go anywhere.

I think I could manage to pull myself together and try to get over that.

I had my chance. I was accepted into, and almost went to grad school at University of Hawaii. But, seriously, the island is like 20 miles wide. There's nowhere to go. It would drive me nuts.

And as for weather and physical beaty: where I live now, is pretty close to Hawaii standards ;)

I didn't know you moved to Jersey!
