Which Side

First, I doubt they have the capacity and, second, I'd like to see numbers on that idea before you burn down the country in order to enact your plan.

you can't even acknowledge there's a problem. so your opinion on solutions means nothing.

considering that, shut your idiot lie hole.

It's almost like Dutch knows he's going to die in a decade or so.

He wants everything else to die with him.

It's hard to believe anybody so detached from reality.

Agreed. OTOH, even saying "more racial fairness" is, IMHO, flawed. Why not just say "Shaping society to be fair to all"?

Our nation is best served when every citizen's potential is maximized and accepted for the betterment of all. Race, gender, sexual preferences and religion, to name a few, don't matter since they irrelevant to the larger picture of a stronger, more fair society which places as much importance on the individual as it does society as a whole.

Since the 1960s many groups rather than assimilating, have become more bold & proud of their identities.

Blacks prior to the 1960 s had mostly English & Christian first names & Baptist roots. This changed as Blacks began chosing African or Muslim first names & more chose their own holidays or religions like Kwanzaa, Nation of Islam, Muslims etc.

Mexican Cinco Dr Mayo used to be nearly unheard of in the USA.Not anymore.

Irish American St Patrick's day has grown tremendously.

British Americans have become more keen on the English royalty.

Jews!? Kosher foods, circumcision & Zionism became increasingly popular.

Italian Columbus day had increased in popularity until recent cancel culture.

French American Cajun culture has also increased with Mardi Gras & so has French Canadian Poutines.

Not sure about Germans or Poles they actually seemed to have assimilated better besides the rather small Pulaski day or Von Steuben day parades which celebrate heroes of the American revolution.

and you cling to to your black supremacist and hate of religion and anti American ideals

I think he's just lashing out at the white supremacist morons whose wives have dentures like this:

I do too. fuck cheap crap. fuck slave labor. fuck planned obsolence, fuck internationalist fascists.

Dutch is funny, he is prejudiced in his own way.

His statement could be taken as prejudiced, about China & Vietnam being more capable of manufacturing than my list of India, Pakistan, Guatemala, Romania, Ukraine etc.

Indeed, when looking at PISA & IQ scores that seems to be the case.

But, Dutch suggested it not me.

he's a tricky sophist, trying to convince you he'd be on board if only there was a "better plan". we don't need a "better plan". we can just stop doing the dumb thing.

Sounds perfect to me. Sounds like the level of social awareness epitomized in the original star trek, where by that time in the future, racism had been completely conquered, had become a thing of the past.

And that concept was pretty remarkable for a 1960's TV show.

Agreed. Like with Star Trek and the commercials, I think they reflect changes in society. That the "norm" of the social needle is moving toward not to just more tolerance, but to embraced acceptance.

Robin Williams starred in a 1992 movie titled "Toys". I think it's highly underrated at 5.1 on IMDB and worth more of a 7. Besides the main story, one thing that made the movie remarkable at the time was the casting; Irish-English actor Michael Gambon played the evil General Zevo and LL Cool J played his special ops trained son Patrick. No mention was ever made in the movie about race or how the General had a rapper for a son.

Then there's the South Park episode about their flag: Chief goes Nanners

The main point is that everyone should be treated equally under the law. This should be more emphasized in schools. Making special rules for special people only serves to divide Americans into special and not special.

star trek- merely a futurized version of white male patriarchal fascistic imperialism, complete with misogynist interracial kink factor, uhura, and antisemitic dogwhistle trope, spock... on and on ....

It was on television years before your dad and mom conceived you at a drunken Prom party.

Like the ideas of our Founders, it imagined a future world where no human goes without basic needs. This, IMO, requires two things: Unlimited energy and unlimited resources. Fusion can create all forms of materials, a 3D printer can print it be it food, gold parts or diamond tipped drill bits.
