I think in order to stop out gun violence problem which is 95% an illegal handgun problem:


1. Legalize marijuana and most drugs
2. Release all non violent drug offenders and expunge their records.
3. Use money saved from not incarcerating people for drug programs, and trade school scholarships.
4. Offer 1 year no tax on new businesses in the worst areas
5. 6 month amesty and/or buy back of any illegal gun.
6. Increase penalties to mandatory additional 10 years for being in possession of an illegal gun. No parole, no plea bargaining.
7. Increase oenalties for dealers and sellers of strawman and other illegal purchases to 15 years, no parole no plea bargaining for each count.




I push and advocated for these things as well as work with inner city youth clubs and other sources to "give back" to the communities I grew up in, one being newark, NJ. Thanks for asking.
