$198k would be the average for a full tenured professor at Harvard. Because there are some superstars who make far more than that, over half the full tenured professors make less than that. And it takes quite a few years to go up through the ranks to get to a full tenured professor.
Once you become a full professor in a university, you are probably going to have a six figure income. Engineering will add a bit to that salary. Harvard pays more than most schools, but not that much more.
