Who Is Trump Indebted TO????

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Revelations that President Donald Trump is personally liable for more than $400 million in debt are casting a shadow that ethics experts say raises national security concerns he could be manipulated to sway U.S. policy by organizations or individuals he’s indebted to."

"Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was blunt about the potential implications. “He may be vulnerable to financial blackmail from a hostile foreign power and God knows what else,” said Warren, a frequent Trump critic."

SFGate: Ethics experts see national security concern in Trump's debt

"“Americans should be concerned about the president’s debt because it’s a national security risk for our country,” said Donald Sherman, deputy director of the nonprofit government watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). “This is information that the president has aggressively and repeatedly tried to keep away from the public.”"

"Richard Painter, who served as chief ethics attorney in Republican George W. Bush's White House, also noted that Trump-owned companies have declared bankruptcy six times, raising the question: Why have lenders been willing to keep risking loans of such enormous amounts?

“Why would banks assume the risk on these loans?” Painter said. “Or did someone else quietly assume risk of that loan for the bank to make it happen?”"

"“The Trump Organization consists of hundreds of LLCs (limited liability corporations) that have been listed on his financial disclosure forms,” Clark said. “One of the things that Trump has benefitted from and that oligarchs and money launderers benefit from is opaqueness of LLCs, ... the ease of which individuals can hide their assets, can hide their financial interests.”

Trump refused to divest his business interests after his 2016 victory, and left day-to-day operation of his family’s real estate and other holdings to his sons Donald Jr. and Eric. Still, the president has benefitted personally from U.S. and foreign government activity at his properties since his election and hasn’t shied away from promoting his hotels and golf courses.

Republicans have held at least 88 political events at his properties, the president has visited his hotels and golf courses more than 500 times, and at least 13 foreign governments have held events at Trump establishments, according to a tally by CREW."

"In the runup to his 2016 election victory, Trump played down his bankruptcies as a smart business strategy and even referred to himself as the “king of debt.""

"Painter said that if Trump were attempting to appoint someone with his massive debt load to a high-profile government position, the nominee would almost certainly face trouble getting a security clearance. Indeed, inability or unwillingness to satisfy debts and a history of not meeting financial obligations could disqualify any federal employee from receiving a security clearance, according to government guidelines."

"Peter Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute, said: “The question is also one of whether the loans are tied to actual assets such as buildings, etc., or was the political figure granted special favors in getting loans. Politicians and their families can engage in commercial transactions, the question is whether the loans are unusual and unique compared to others in the marketplace.""

The question of loyalty is front and center.

Does Trump serve the American people?

Or does he serve his magic money benefactor creditors?

Can you show evidence for trump being..."manipulated to sway U.S. policy by organizations or individuals he’s indebted to." ?

There s evidence it is a house of cards, there is a lot of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I’d ask him, why if he is a billionaire is his campaign paying his legal bills?

Remember when $arah Palin was half-governor and all those ethics charges were filed against her? One of them involved her raiding her PAC and using the funds to pay legal bills. She was found to be in violation of campaign finance laws and had to pay both a fine and return all the funds she "borrowed." I hope they nail the Toadstool for the same corruption.

Hello Trumpet,

I understand that there are very few banks that are willing to do business with Trump, so the likelihood that Trump resorted to Russian banks is a very scary thought, this would give Putin a leash with which to control Trump.

Maybe Trump is indebted to the Russian mafia.

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

For the rest of us, it is difficult, if not impossible, to get a job in the finance, health insurance, and IT fields if you have a poor credit rating and a lot of debt. You are considered a security risk as well as not skilled at handling money.

We all knew this about the Toadstool for YEARS. Yet a segment of morons thought that his TV game show host persona was real, and put him in the highest office in the country. He's not only the biggest loser, but the biggest national security risk as well.

If Trump had been hired in the Executive branch instead of elected into it, (which would have been a very bad choice,) he would have been denied a security clearance, just like Jarod Kushner was.

Hello Trumpet,

The Mueller term was prevented from doing a financial investigation in to Trump's financial dealing by a corrupt DOJ and a corrupt Trump GOP house ( at the time) and senate.

Mueller caved to Trump on financial probe; didn't follow the money

Andrew Weissmann, one of the lead prosecutors for Special Counsel Robert Mueller, talks with Rachel Maddow about his frustration that the Mueller team did not pursue a financial investigation of Donald Trump that would have answered some of the questions raised by NYT reporting on Trump's taxes.

We will get to the bottom of the Trump swamp. Yes, it will be stinky.

Hello Phantasmal,

He better hope it’s not the guy who delivers that special drink of your choice, most often, tea. Maybe, that’s why Trump drinks Diet Cokes that they open in front of him

He may have to get a food taster, too!

Hello Darth,

A lot of people lol? He’s a flipping billionaire businessman.

Maybe Joe can provide evidence of illegality.

What does your son owe the Russian and Putin connected oligarch, Joe?

Speaking of sons, how many people think Eric Trump and Don Jr are really trusted by Donald to run the Trump Organization?

Oh, I didn't even know that about Sarah Palin.

And wow. She was the big laughing stock in the news for how long?

Ever since Birther -Man came on the scene it's like she fell off the planet.

Well, at least the Abominable President has angered so many with his hatred that nobody cares much about his $70K comb over any more.

A lot of people lol? He’s a flipping billionaire businessman.

He's no more a billionaire than anatta is an American.

He's broke and committed tax fraud by funneling money to his kids as "consulting fees".

What does your son owe the Russian and Putin connected oligarch, Joe?

"I would like you to do us a favor though..."

He literally removed sanctions on Russians that Obama put in place for their attacks on this country in 2016.
