Why do conservatives still focus on abortion as a major issue?

I think that's true of any on-line discussion forum involving politics. We are passionate, involved, interested in discussions/arguments, and quite often dickheads -- and that goes for myself as well as my fellow independents and lefties.

That being said, in all the years I've had the disgust of being around Toxic Top, I've never gotten why she gravitates to political forums. She's not much interested in discussing actual politics unless it's to attack outspoken women, people of color, and LGBT folk. Why bother with that?

One of the mysteries of the modern world, I guess. I have noticed that too. Certain people who spend an inordinate amount of time on political message boards not discussing politics, but indulging in petty grudges, girlish gossip, scurrilous scuttlebutt, and belligerent bluster. I don't get it, and call on the psychologists and mental health counselors to sort it all out!

You really ARE that dense, aren't you? Most Evangelical churches are not those huge fancy megachurches that have flocks of 2,000+ members.

Your first paragraph is spot on. We see it in our government and among our national talking heads as well as boards like this.
 
Strange....when someone begins a thread by declaring, "I am not trolling.....BUT..........". Its the same propaganda used by liberals for almost a century....accuse others of the practice you are engaging in.

Its not rocket science. In relation to abortion on demand. Its immoral and a sin to kill a human child in any stage of gestation. Moral societies create moral laws....immoral societies create immoral laws. Laws do not create immorality and sin....they define what a society calls immoral acts. Simply declaring an action LEGAL does not make it moral. There is a "transcending" LAW that is far and above superior to the laws of man. The same law our founders addressed and made appeal in declaring the independence of the UNITED STATES OF AMERCIA....the supreme judge of the world....the CREATOR FATHER. The same God mentioned in the closing line of our Constitution, The Lord God Almighty, "On the day of OUR LORD...."

Look just because you don’t like someone doesn’t mean they’re bad. Trump hasn’t exactly done anything great but hyperbole aside and in a historical context he’s not made a major fuck up either. I mean I get it. He’s unpopular and he’s a boor but but he should be judged by his actions and his policy’s.
