Why do right wingers always bash education?

The public education system in the 50's and 60's was segregated. Is that what you are suggesting we go back to? Were those segregated schools better for minority students? We also spent far less money on ESL learners. Should we try to recreate that as well? Many women were not allowed in the work force so many of the best and brightest women went into teaching. Today they become CEO's, entrepreneurs etc. Should we recreate the conditions where they go back to being teachers again?

I noticed you didn't respond to this Nordberg.

My folks are in the mid 70's. They went to a 3K person high school. They said there were zero black kids, zero LatinX kids (let alone any ESL learners) and zero Jewish kids. There were a couple of Asian kids (their parents were professors at Ohio State).

I think it almost impossible to have those demographics at a school today. They said it was an excellent school. But that's what it was like back then.

I went to school then. However, school segregation is a result of people living in segregation. We tried busing to mesh students. We knew that separate is unequal.
My public school competed with the expensive private schools, like Cranbrook, that taught people like Romney. We had slow average and fast classes. We had several languages being taught. We had music classes and did not pay for sports.
We had schools for superior students of all colors to attend. We had schools that taught shop and mechanics, much like an apprenticeship.
Teaching is a mission for many. They know they are not getting rich, but want to serve.

well the nwo banker plan is to raise up china because no human rights is the new ideal.

so it's a plan the chinese can get behind.

As Carlin pointed out we have not had rights in America for a long time, we have privileges, and they can be taken away just ike that.

BullShit.

China has the largest education system in the world, and education investments make up 4% of the country’s annual GDP. But despite China’s reputation of striving for academic excellence, the country’s rural-urban education gap is widening, and those in poverty are being left behind. After a passing a certain grade level in school, there are no guarantees for rural students to continue their education as easily as their urban peers. This rural-urban education gap helps perpetuate China’s large divide between social classes.
