Not to mention textbooks and such written by PhD's in education. I saw one written by 3 PhD's and a MA in education that was for basic science and technology. It was beyond execrable. I remember one example in particular from it, where they described a "turbine" (they meant 'generator') is two magnets connected by a piece of wire. That is utterly and completely wrong! It so wrong it hurts. Their explanation of nuclear power--other than it's bad--was equally vacuous. It was clear looking through it that not one of them had even a basic knowledge of science or technology, yet they were publishing a textbook (it was published by McGraw-Hill) solely on their academic credentials.

Oh, did I mention, all four were women...

This would not surprise me. Though they shouldn't be writing textbooks about subjects in which they are not educated. I mean, why would they write a textbook talking about turbines?

Textbooks are reviewed at several points....books teaching lies dont get into a classroom by accident.
 
The TextBook industry was long ago optimized for pushing the WOKE agenda....keeping the citizens ignorant, confused and afraid.

It was a general survey on how electrical power is generated with some environmental nonsense tossed in. It didn't go into much detail, but what details were present were just wrong.

That makes more sense then. As I said, I am not surprised. My bet is you found grammar errors and misspellings as well.

I don't recall, but it's likely. Turbine for generator was one. They started by talking about turbines being the power source for generators, and then confused the two.

State Boards of Education, run strictly by leftists, ensure their disinformation is administered directly to the captive audiences of the nation's youth.

We were back in the classroom. We got together as a group, voted and were back in school in August. Glad we did.

The publishing companies, the state, and local school board all have experts review the books before they hit the classroom....dozens of people likely were involved.

When there is a political agenda at stake, political opponents are eschewed. Those enforcing the agenda ensure its compliance. It's that simple.
