I'm far left of Democrats,so I never came close to voting Republican.

I may not agree with you on much but I agree with you here. There are exceptions of course but tribalism (and the team mentality) is very real and its a b*tch. (Hell, I'll admit personally I've started posts and then deleted them because they would be calling out or disagreeing with someone on my "side".)

Maybe someone will argue its a requirement in partisan politics but I think that mentality does a lot of bad.
