The Middle Path is older than Jesus and was taught by a man who was greater than, and affected far more people than, you will ever even if you were to somehow become President.
 
The middle path is the most correct path. Not the most glamarous or easiest though.
Both of those goals most often lead us astray.

Plato was the republican, after all he wrote a book about it. I like to think Aristotle was a lefty, after all, he thought about empiricism and dissed the idea of (Platonic) idealism (ie Republican propaganda).
