One of the ways that Burger King tries to diffrentiate itself is in taking special orders. McDonald's and most others, however, don't, as it does slow down production quite a bit.
 
It's pathetic how someone who actually helps somebody barely makes less than the price of a good steak at a restaurant per hour, and someone who works a job which does not help anybody gets paid more. I think that many pensions should just be cut for all sorts of jobs like police officers. It just shows that even contributing so much and doing so much hard work doesn't really give you a decent income.

If one is good at diaper changing and other responsibilities, one will gain lots of thanks and maybe a bonus or two.

Again, she works the playground, stated earlier, that is maybe three hours per day.

The minimum in CO is above $7.74 ($7.78 to be exact), I made more than $7.74 working as a closer at McDonald's when I was in HS back when the minimum was around $4 per hour... (I actually made less as an E1 in the Navy per year than I did at McDonald's. Although my housing and food was free and if you count that compensation was better overall, especially with the health care).

Now, all your assumptions are very bad. You need to try harder. And no the starting salary where my SIL lives (she also lives rurally) is less than $10 per hour.
 
I think that porn stars deserve a bigger paycheck than paramedics! After all, they contribute more to the worlds sperm count!

The cons on this forum always say people should do what it takes to be responsible for their own lives. If it means working several low-paying jobs that's okay as long as it keeps them from government entitlements. Yet this teacher's aide is getting slammed because she's supposedly changing diapers or being a playground monitor. Note how they downgrade her official title to something that implies "it's a dirty job but somebody has to do it."

Some of these guys need to talk to Steelplate if they think caring for the disabled is a walk in the park.

While I'm sure she works hard during those three hours a day, that's a very different situation from a full-time or near-full-time job at McDonald's.

Playground monitors, traffic monitors, etc for schools don't get paid much. Rightly or wrongly, that's how it works.

Maybe she should unionize.
