Its simple: "Caetano v. Massachusetts", 2016 "THE SECOND AMENDMENT EXTENDS, prima facie (a logical conclusion of all information presented as evidence to include reasoned evidence beyond doubt void of any objectively demonstrable evidence to the contrary), to all instruments that constitute BEARABLE ARMS...even those that were not in existence at the time of founding."

In other words THE PEOPLE still reserve the right to bear arms as a form of SELF DEFENSE...even from its own government if required. No amount of historically illogical reasoning concludes with anything other than THE PEOPLE and a WELL ARMED MILITIA being one in the same. When a point in time comes where the government or government forces are not strong enough to protect the PEOPLE...the PEOPLE always reserve the right to BEAR ARMS to protect, Freedom, Life and Property from any type of unlawful or immoral attempt to take these guaranteed rights away from THE PEOPLE....even if its your own government that morphs into a dictatorial form of despotic ignorance.

History explains, "Those who hammer their guns into plowshares, will plow for those who do not," -- Thomas Jefferson.

The topic was being discussed from the beginning of this Republic as the question was presented to Congress, "Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with ARMS for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under OUR DIRECTION and having them under the direction of Congress? IF OUR DEFENSE BE THE REAL OBJECTIVE OF HAVING THOSE ARMS, IN WHOSE HANDS CAN THEY BE BETTER TRUSTED WITH MORE PROPRIETY (correct), OR EQUAL SAFETY TO US AS IN OUR OWN HANDS?" -- Patrick Henry

"The constitutions of our states assert that all power is inherent to the People; That its their right and duty to be at all times armed....." -- Thomas Jefferson.

Finally this iota of wisdom from our founding principles, "The greatest danger to American Freedom is a government that ignores its own constitution." -- Again, Thomas Jefferson.

And speaking of the right to bear arms, "What country can truly preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned/reminded from time to time that THE PEOPLE always preserve the right of resistance....LET THEM TAKE OUR ARMS." -- T. Jefferson.

What's frightening about anyone being so ignorant they want to abolish our rights of self defense its not the fear of losing our firearms, its the sudden realization that its OUR NEIGHBORS who are propagating such nonsense...that we live among that gullible lot of lost humanity who totally place their very life's in the hands of BIG BROTHER...as we all know just how well regulated that institution has become.

A shooting at the Music City Central bus station in downtown Nashville has left four people injured, including one critically wounded, Metropolitan Nashville Police said. The shooting was reported to police at about 3:40 p.m. CT and is the latest string violence involving young people in Nashville. Earlier in the day, four people were injured in an unrelated shooting in Goodlettsville.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said four teenagers were shot at the bus station, including 18-year-old Javious Chatman, who was critically injured. That man was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, Aaron said. A 17-year-old boy was hit in the ankle, and 17-year-old and 15-year-old boys suffered graze wounds, Aaron said. Chatman was on the escalator when the shooting happened, according to Metro police.

Police say a window-washer spotted two teens running away from the bus station and one of them toss a semi-automatic pistol into a bush. Two 17-year-olds are in police custody, according to police .

The shooting is not believed to be a random event, according to police, as surveillance video shows the suspects riding up and down the escalators as if they were looking for someone.

A man went to a hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday after his firearm accidentally discharged in the parking lot of a venue where a gun show was underway.

The shooting occurred around 4:15 p.m. in the parking lot at South Towne Expo Center, 9575 South State Street in Sandy, Saturday.

According to police at the scene, a man left the gun show and returned to his vehicle in the parking lot. Because loaded weapons are not allowed inside the venue during the show, the man had left his gun in the car.

“Following the gun show he had returned to his car and he had retrieved his weapon and was re-holstering it prior to leaving, at which time he accidentally discharged the weapon, which is a .40-caliber pistol, shooting himself in the right thigh,” said Sgt. Dean Carriger of the Sandy Police Department.

I wonder if he said this?

I wonder if he said this?

Perhaps he did, Brother Leon.

The Tree of Liberty must have thirsted for that Patriot's blood.

I hope he survived so he can stand watch in eternal vigilance and resist government tyranny with that pistol.

With those skills, he should be more than a match for any federal troops seeking to strip sovereign citizens of their rights.

More patriots need to shoot themselves so the tree of liberty can resolve it's drinking problem.

They are taking a shot at it, Brother Leon.

Over 60% of gun deaths are suicides.

Then there are incidents like this:

A retired NYPD officer accidentally shot his Long Island podiatrist in the foot while trying to show off his gun, Nassau County police said.

The 77-year-old ex-cop whipped out his 10-mm. semiautomatic pistol during an office visit to Dr. Matthew Nester at about 10:30 a.m., officials said.

The gun went off — hitting both the cop and the doctor — inside Nester’s office.

What kind of irony is it to shoot your podiatrist in the foot.
What if he were seeing his urologist?
LOL
