Two teenagers suffered gunshot wounds in an apparent drive-by shooting at a busy intersection in the Uptown neighborhood, police said.

The boys, ages 15 and 17, were standing on the street near the intersection of Sheridan Road and Wilson Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. when someone inside of a dark-colored sports utility vehicle opened fire, according to police, citing early reports.

The 15-year-old was struck in the leg, while the older teen was struck in the buttocks...

A 34-year-old man died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound while hunting in the area of Woodmansee Road in Cheboygan County.

According to a press release from the Cheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched at 12:20 p.m. Friday to the area for a non-responsive hunter.

Deputies located the man approximately 200 feet off the road in the woods with a fatal gunshot wound. He was reportedly found by relatives.

The man had been hunting alone when he exited his blind and walked east, and reportedly tripped on underbrush, causing his firearm to discharge.

A person found dead in a Frankfort-area house destroyed by fire had multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest.

Search warrants filed on Nov. 17 in Benzie County District Court show that one of the males found in the aftermath of the Nov. 16 fire was later determined to have two gunshot wounds to the chest and two to the head.

Three people were found dead in the house after the fire. Police identified the bodies as Linda and Chris Luedtke and their son Christopher, 17.

The warrant doesn’t specify which male was shot, but authorities earlier said that Christopher was dead before the fire started.

The warrant also said a .38-caliber revolver was found near what appeared to be the female.

A Teton middle-school math teacher is in stable condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the stomach during a duck-hunting outing.

Steve Coburn, 48, of Driggs, was hunting with a friend and the friend's son in Victor.

As the three were leaving and packing up, they placed their shotguns on the floor of the backseat of the truck.

According to an incident report filed by Sheriff's Deputy Fred Hale, who responded to the accident, Coburn's friend explained that they loaded up decoys into the back of Coburn's truck, along with a kennel for their dog.

There was not enough room for Coburn's dog, so they decided to load him into the back seat.

The elderly golden retriever was loaded into the back seat where they had piled their three shotguns onto the floorboard in the back seat.

While the friend was pushing the dog into the right side of the seat, Coburnwas standing on the left side of the truck and the shotgun fired, hitting Coburn, who fell to the ground.

San Antonio police have three men behind bars in connection to a west-side shooting.

Police say a group of men were hanging out outside of a home in the 400 block of Queretaro just after 4 a.m. when a car carrying three people pulled up.

A fight broke out and shots were fired.

A 26-year-old man was hit in the shooting.

Henry Mena was transported to a hospital with three gunshot wounds.

A local man was hospitalized after being shot in the leg late on the city’s east side.

Police were originally called around 10:45 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of Moore Street, according to Danville Police Sgt. Joshua Campbell.

Around 10 minutes later, police received notification of a man with a gunshot wound at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

The man — identified as a 21-year-old Danville resident — suffered a gunshot wound to the leg...

Kansas City police are looking for two suspects in the shooting death of a man.

Neighbors reported shots fired about 11 p.m. inside an apartment building in the 3500 block of East 51st Street.

Officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest in the parking lot.

An ambulance took him to a hospital, where he died.

Police did not release his name, pending notification of relatives.

A second victim showed up at a hospital with non life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fatal accidental shooting of a hunter in northeast Iron County.

Deputies found the victim, Randy Stroud, 41, of Sagola, had died as a result of a gunshot wound he received while participating in a deer drive.

An unidentified man in is life-threatening condition after a shooting at West 14th and Barnett, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said someone shot multiple times at the man, who is in his early 20s, about 12:45 p.m. as he stood at the intersection.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his torso.

Indianapolis metropolitan police are investigating the death of an Indianapolis man after his body was found this morning on the city’s Near Northside.

37-year-old Timothy Hathaway, whose address was not immediately available, apparently died after suffering several gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles police received a call about shots fired around 10:30 a.m. and responded to the scene at Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street.


The suspect was killed and the area has been cordoned off by police.


It was unclear how many people were injured in the shooting.


At least two people were being treated at the scene and at least one person has been transported to a hospital.


Witness Oscar Herrera told KABC the suspect fired at least nine shots, hitting a man driving a Mercedes and a woman driving a Toyota Camry, who fled her car on foot.


Herrera said the the suspect ran out of bullets and pulled a knife before he was shot by police.

A Spokane man shot in what detectives believe was a dispute with two neighbors called 911 and asked for help just before he died, police said Thursday.

The man was located just blocks from police headquarters, and officers arrived within minutes to find him dead.

A man died at a Mooresville shooting range Tuesday afternoon, police say.

Mooresville police responded to the Point Blank Range located at 743 River Highway at around 2:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Mooresville Police Department.

Police found a man who was suffering from a single gunshot wound.

EMS responded immediately to assist the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
