Except for some small billionaire enclaves of old Boston Brahmin families,
Boston is mostly Democratic and by appearances, mostly Catholic or perhaps even more so lapsed Catholic like myself.
The handful of people that I know of who go to Bible Study and such are rabid Republicans, however.

It just seems to fall into line.
Here, they're a small minority with almost no political power,
where in some parts of the country, they're a majority with lots of power
[with which they often do very stupid things].
