Then local property taxes should not be sole funder of schools.Ok. What about all the public schools that are bad, dangerous, etc and the parents want to get their kids a good education?

That's doesn't answer the question. Then local property taxes should not be sole funder of schools.
Why are there bad schools? Close correlation to money in district and performance. That's doesn't answer the question.
Why are there bad schools? Close correlation to money in district and performance.
Musical chairs. Someone is always left out. Not acceptable. There are bad schools for many reasons.
What about all the public schools that are bad, dangerous, etc and the parents want to get their kids a good education?
I don't think most school age children want to go to Religion Class 5 days a week.Billions in taxpayer dollars are being used to pay tuition at religious schools throughout the country, as state voucher programs expand dramatically and the line separating public education and religion fades.
School vouchers can be used at almost any private school, but the vast majority of the money is being directed to religious schools, according to a Washington Post examination of the nation’s largest voucher programs.
Wrong. Why are there bad schools? Close correlation to money in district and performance.
Every statistic I've seen show high correlation of wealth in district to performance of the schools.Wrong.
Balto. spends $27k per student, most in the nation second only to NYC.
Last year, 15 Balto. city schools had perfect records. ZERO students could pass their math efficiency exams.
That's because White Libs send their kids to private schools. But deny school choice to poor Black children. Deny freedom of religion to poorer parents.Every statistic I've seen show high correlation of wealth in district to performance of the schools.
Oh my, you really do care about Black people. That's because White Libs send their kids to private schools. But deny school choice to poor Black children. Deny freedom of religion to poorer parents.
And you really don't.Oh my, you really do care about Black people.
You are very moral. And you really don't.
white lib plantation policies
1. deny Black children an education
2. demonize their religion and fatherhood
3. destroy their traditional families
4. keep Black Americans trapped in Northern ghettos
5. encourage Black women to kill their children before they are born for financial reasons
6. create permanent poverty with generational welfare
7. deny them police protection
8. release criminals back into the community
9. dump infected illegals in their neighborhoods.
10. and "Lynch" Black republicans
The parents of voucher school kids PAY TAXES TOO. Their money/ their kids.Billions in taxpayer dollars are being used to pay tuition at religious schools throughout the country, as state voucher programs expand dramatically and the line separating public education and religion fades.
School vouchers can be used at almost any private school, but the vast majority of the money is being directed to religious schools, according to a Washington Post examination of the nation’s largest voucher programs.
Free from US law and custom is not freedom. It's anarchy. The parents of voucher school kids PAY TAXES TOO. Their money/ their kids.
They SHOULD get to choose where to spend it.
It'[s called FREEDOM.
Yet you want to force the least well-off people, often, to the worst schools rather than giving them choices on how to direct their tax money.Musical chairs. Someone is always left out. Not acceptable.
Yes I do.Yet you want to force the least well-off people, often, to the worst schools rather than giving them choices on how to direct their tax money.
That's pretty fucked up and all over a desire to keep a below average, government monopoly in place.Yes I do.
Like I said, your argument is musical chairs. That's pretty fucked up and all over a desire to keep a below average, government monopoly in place.
What about all the public schools that are bad, dangerous, etc and the parents want to get their kids a good education?
What fucking nonsense. It isn't the government's job to tell us where to spend the education dollars for OUR KIDS.Free from US law and custom is not freedom. It's anarchy.
Parents of voucher kids are TAXPAYERS TOO.In general, of course they do, just like private colleges generally offer a better education than State colleges.
And they should, private schools can flush students they don’t want, they can pick and choose who they admit, public schools can not be selective, they have to educate anyone who walks thru the door, it is the law
The question becomes is it right for the taxpayer to pay for the education of the chosen at the cost of lost funding for public schools?
