The Sheriff has already declared he won't enforce the unconstitutional edict. It is the Mayor of Albuquerque, and ONLY the Mayor that issued this edict against the 2nd amendment. There was no vote of any kind, just an edict. Both the DA and the Sheriff have stated they will NOT enforce the edict since it is unconstitutional.

This is just a test run using exactly the same tactics they used during the China Virus debacle. Governors declared an emergency and forced businesses to close and people to stay off the street. I find people to be a bit smarter not and ignore their bullshit.

Hallucination. Trump made no such statement. Indeed, Trump followed this twit's advice (a mistake by Trump). Recently, Trump said he would not comply with mask mandates anymore (he finally figured it out).

Yup, thankfully people are standing up and ignoring the unlawful edict from the very beginning. That's the way to do it, as court cases take way too long to the point where the damage is already done by the time a ruling is issued... and leftists know that truth all too well, so that's why they have no fear in making said edicts... because they figure that they can scare people into submission while it takes too long for the uncorrupt parts of the court system to catch up to their edicts.

It's only sensible for the Sheriff. He wants to go home to his family at night. Trying to take lawful guns away means he likely won't go home ever again.
Same for the DA. Can you imagine filing court cases on the general population that have guns and never broke the law? The countersuits would be coming so thick and fast and SHE might never see her home again.

And the Mayor? A now toothless edict, and an end of a political career.

Yes...even in Albuquerque, about as government happy a city as there is out west. Many there are involved in government something or other. Much of it former federal government.

Quite right, but people have much less say in a dictatorship. It doesn't matter if it's going to fly or not. They just dictate that you wear a mask.
...unless you think a revolt will take place to overthrow the dictatorship. Perhaps another trucker convoy across Canada? This time followed by most citizens? Maybe a general strike instead, followed by physical revolt against Trudeau?
