The Left and One Party Rule

How do you arrive at them continuing to struggle? No one is expecting them to give away a large portion of their money. If a person in the $500,000 bracket pays an extra 5% in taxes ($25,000) are they going to struggle to put dinner on the table? Clothe their family?

That's not your call or anyone else's.
Why should anyone who struggled to get where they are, now be forced to work for others?
Maybe the Kanadian Government should decide that you have to much property and confiscate one of your apartment buildings.

You're concerned people on welfare don't want to work but you complain when the government sends them for jobs. You don't want to find a solution. Be honest about it. You don't want to help people.

Since that was a decision made in Germany, you really need to find something that pertains to the US.

If social programs were implemented there's no reason it couldn't pertain to the US. That's the point of social programs. A program like that addresses the "lazy people" argument. If someone doesn't want a job then don't give them welfare. If there 's no job then drop the "lazy people" argument and help them.

There is always a job.
Just a shortage of people willing to do them.

Why does a person need help to stop being lazy?

Lets look at a few comments you obamacultists, far left wingers and totalitarians have directed at me.

I have been called a child, a retard, stupid, low iq, autistic, insane and much more( the rest, including the horrific attacks on my family are not relevant here).

Lets say all the above is fact.

I still get up each morning( as I have for 32 years) and I work, I earn, I pay my way, I don't depend on others, I don't commit crimes, I create work for others, I pay 50% or more of my income to the government.

Now, if I can do that given all the disabilities I have, without help, why can't others?

Refer to msg #83. A program that would verify if a person was lazy. A simple and efficient solution.

Sure, that's why a hundred people line up to apply for ten jobs.
Is that why ten jobs have no applications?
Of why 5 interviews were booked and no one showed up?
Is that why local 223 can't get enough people into the hall?
Plenty of jobs!
Shortage of willing workers.

Currently I'd take and keep anyone who showed up on time and stole less than $50 a day!!

USFREEDOM, it's called mutual aid. A principal connected to zoology by an ex-Russian aristocrat, it concludes that people will innately provide from the mutual benefit of their species - and that society should be crafted to facilitate this.

It's also connected to fascism, nazism and Stalinism.
It's proven to be unworkable, but the obamacult keeps pushing it!

One has to remember that in the case of Russia and other places where "mutual aid" was implemented it almost always was under the leadership of a revolutionary force. Do we expect violent people to take over a country and then rule it benevolently? Even if the leader is/was a believer in peace and goodwill the people who helped him get there were armed and violent. Do we expect people who planned an overthrow, lived a life of violence, to become caring-for-others folks overnight? Do we expect anyone who unilaterally declares themselves Grand Poobah to be willing to share?

Of course it's been proven to be unworkable. All one has to do is consider who is/was in charge. That doesn't mean the concept is not a viable one. The fact is as the population grows and resources become scarce it's the only viable concept.

These unworkable ideas have failed under every possible guise.
That leftists still try to force them says something about leftists.

Repeating the same action hoping for a different result is insanity.

Are you still refering to the article about Germany?

So basically, it's just a fucked up socialist program that allows others to feed of those who actually work.

How to address that... The principal isn't connected to any specific form of government, revolutionary, or otherwise. It's a concept pertaining to evolution and a direct counter to social darwinism - it's been a premise that can be found in anything from capitalism to communism.

Also, the person who came up with it was an anarchist and not part of the Russian revolution.

Friedrich von Hayek supported unemployment compensation. Granted, a small program, but one that secured a steady income for everyone, could they not earn more in the market.

I have no problem with short term help.
My objection is when it becomes a "life style".

It's only insanity when people are dying by the truck load every day from hunger and disease when we can help them.
