please this shit is really funny, republicans had dems bent over for the last decade. Reversing roles shouldn't have the crybabies out so early. there's 8 yrs left of it.

But "mob rules" was perfectly acceptable from so many Republicans when Bush was in charge with Rep majorities in both houses.

Now suddenly you want the minority opinion to count. A pity there weren't many Republicans who felt that way from 2000-2008.

Pray tell how did the Republican controlled congress react to almost all Democrat sponsored amendments from 2000-06?

You make an excellent point. Considering how Repubs utterly discounted anything and everything that Dems voiced, I really don't see what the Repubs are whining about? Isn't turn about fair play? Why the total hypocricy? I guess they can dish it out but can't take it.

Slim margin? What rock have you been hiding under? You keep talking delusional and people will mistake you for Asshat. Obama beat McCain in the popular vote by 8% (9.5 million votes!) and earned 190 more electoral votes which was more than double what McCain won. By any measure that's a major ass whooping McCain took and wasnt' even remotely close.

Now close is like when you lose the popular vote and SCOTUS awards you the electoral vote and annoints you President. Now that's close. The 2008 election was a clear rejection of Republican policy by the American people.

Interesting but at this point what are we to do? Allow the country to go down the drain? The spending frenzy going on right now isn't to my liking but I don't see another way. Do you? What is the proper solution?
And, furthermore we wouldn't be in this mess if not for Bush/Cheney and spending money like it grew on a tree to go attack Iraq.

They sure did vote to go to fund the war after Bush's administration lied them into thinking there was imminent danger from all those imaginary WMD's. I guess the reason that Bush thought they had WMD's is because the US gave them WMD's to fight Iran. But the joke was on us because Saddam Insane had already used them all.

It's not a lie that Bush conned everyone. It says the same thing about the Democrats as it does the Republicans. They thought the lil sh*t was telling the truth. Especially since everyone was all fired-up over 9-11. That's exactly why they did it when they did. Perfect timing. Bush may be crazy but he's not dumb. Well, on second thought - yes, he IS dumb. Ol' Mr. I-know-how-hard-it-is-to-put-food-on-your-family. We grossly misunderestimated him.
