It must be the right type of enthusiasm. Many many more people than will ever attend a rally will vote. The number of people who will ever attend a rally in their life is minuscule to the number who will vote.

Huge crowds used to attend hangings and beheadings. It does not mean they were going to vote for the headliner, or even that the death penalty was popular.

A GayPride parade draws hug crowds (even in Texas), but a small percentage of people are gay!

I believe Joes enthusiasm comes from the huge dislike of Trump and his outrageousness. If the Republicans had nominated Haley and Trump didn’t run 3rd Party, Joe wouldn’t have a chance.

The enthusiasm for Joe is generated from a patriotic desire to prevent Trump from entering the Oval Office ever again without the anti-Trump, you are correct, there is no enthusiasm for Joe.
