Trillions of religions

You fear that polls spread religion? I have seen plenty of Pew polls that have nothing to do with religion, and there's nothing in their religious polls that is particularly flattering about Christianity at the expense of anyone else. It's just statistical data.

You should find out what Pew is.

The only thing that matters is whether they conduct scientifically and statistically sound surveys of global opinion. The mainstream media who routinely cite them think they do.

"Overall, the methodology and research conducted by the the Pew Research Center is regarded as sound and reliable (Rakitt 2013). The Center is frequently cited and referenced in scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, and dissertations/theses." --> source

We've had over 4,000 religions on this planet alone.

There are at least 100 billion galaxies in the universe, and likely MANY more than that. Even if there are just a few planets in each galaxy supporting intelligent life, that would likely mean that there are trillions of religions. And there are probably more than a few in each galaxy, so the # may as well be infinite.

And some religions here that are only a few thousand years old think that their faith is the only one that matters, or that grants passage into the afterlife?

It's insanely illogical. Organized religion is a pretty primitive thing. We should grow out of it.

One God

I know your lies are no substitute for truth......and that's you floating down the river in a canoe with no paddle......

I know that people like you and Donald Trump are using lies intentionally in an effort to feed your selfish and malevolent evil ways.

I deplore people like you and him!

Next!

Polling shows that we are growing out of it...slowly. The fact that religion still exist, and is still very prominent in US culture, shows just how influential our parents/environment are in shaping our beliefs because if people applied the same requirements for belief to religion that they do for everything else in life, religion would be marginalized like astrology by now.

Yet you are very religious.

I'll bet you counted every single one of them too!

Random numbers are not statistical math. Data is not statistical math, Sock.

I don't think religion will ever go extinct. Many people will always feel they need a moral, cultural, and spiritual foundation to believe in.
Yep. There's no other explanation for the OBEDIENCE to the Global Warming hoax, as unbelievably absurd as it is on its face.

Good catch.

However people, such as you, prefer to embrace religion rather than marginalize it.

The only people who attack "religion" actually embrace some denomination of the Marxism religion, which they are obligated to claim is not a religion, per their religious dogma.

Exactly, and I'm certain that each of those intelligent life forms worships Climate Change and taxes the shit out of themselves for their governments to keep Global Warming under control. Svante Arrhenius knew more than a century ago that whatever physics violations are needed to save earth are needed to save the rest of the universe. Pray for Climate Justice everywhere, not just on earth.

What we know is that CO2 makes the universe habitable and that without CO2, the universe would be mostly hostile to life instead of the tropical paradise that it is. Without CO2, the vacuum of space wouldn't be able to trap heat as it does. We have the goddess Climate to thank for this, for making the universe as teeming with life as it is, owing to her "fine tuning" of the universal climate. Unfortunately, human activity is causing the universal climate to increase in average equilibrium temperature at an accelerated rate which is worse than previously feared. All the developing life forms are being responsible but humans ... well, you know humans, destroying the universal climate because of their greed and their dependence on fossil stars. We need to address this existential crisis now, although it might already be too late.
