That's basically where we are right now. Neither Tbird nor you have made any sort of valid or meaningful point about these supposed "farmers in red states" who are supposedly saying "this isn't what I voted for". Your links showed a few individual farmers expressing various concerns that they have, but nothing about "I didn't vote for this". Even if you stretch the expressed concerns into meaning "I didn't vote for this", you're still facing the fact that a few individuals are not "farmers in general".

I see no reason to believe that "I didn't vote for this" is a popular sentiment amongst "farmers in red states" (or even farmers anywhere in the USA for that matter).

The conversation about farmers has already been had. Both Tbird and yourself failed miserably at it. What more is there to be said about it beyond what has already been said? You've made no valid point about people supposedly claiming "I didn't vote for this" in any meaningful manner. It's simply not happening.

The Muskovites are not qualified for their jobs. It appears they just got a list of countries and put them on the tariff list, without bothering to do a scintilla of research. Then Trump let it out. Mistakes like these by the president of the US should not be tolerated. There is no excuse for this kind of work.
Trump is not taking the job seriously. He spent the weekend golfing while so many stupid mistakes were occurring. Tariffs were his great idea, but not as great as golfing. He fiddled around on the golf course as the stock market burned down fortunes.

Tariffs are based on country of manufacture, not country it was shipped from. Do you really think there is a loophole where someone could claim their product was manufactured on an uninhabited island? You seem to be completely delusional.

The country of manufacture if China manufactures in Mexico is Mexico. Mexico isn't occupied by penguins. It's like when a US company manufactures in China then the country of manufacture is China.

Which penguins will work in the factory you are thinking will be built on Heard and McDonald Islands? It is inhabited by penguins, remember? ;)
