Trump then, Trump now ... SOS.

Trump was handed a vibrant and growing economy that Obama created after fixing Bush's near depression. Trump ultimately took credit when he did nothing to the economy until he passed a huge tax cut that overwhelmingly favored the wealthy and corporations. Trump did make the wealth gap a lot wider. If that is good to you, then you should be pleased.
Presidents are supposed to stop doing business during their terms. Trump did not. The rules and laws have never applied to him.

Liberal lies.

You sure like that Kool-Aid.

Hello Tinkerpeach,

Bull shit. He didn't turn everything around at all. His businesses failed. He only made money by selling his name to developers who actually knew how to add up costs and receipts; and getting an acting job pretending to be savvy on TV.

He thought the casinos would be OK - they all failed.

He thought the Trump shuttle would turn around - had to sell it off.

He thought Ivana would lose her lawsuit - she got millions.

Donald ran off with his mistress Marla and had to reinvent himself as an actor playing a snob. It didn't take much acting.

And yet made about three billion in the process.

How do you consider that a failure?

Trump was right, he turned everything around.

You all seem to miss that point, he ended up making billions after this interview.

He ended up fooling people like you into believing he made billions after the interview.

Trump fucks up everything he touches!

What this shows is that everyone in the owner positions of pro-football are wheeler dealers and BS artists who could care less about patriotism or the players beyond seeing them as performing chimps. It also shows what a waste of space the Orange Oaf is when it comes to business, and how two faced he is in every aspect of his professional life.

Trump is a liar and a thief!

It just fascinates me as to how our resident Trump chumps would be wailing like banshees if just a fraction of this type of thing were connected to Obama, much less Biden. Yet with Dump, then just pull down their pants, drape themselves over the back of a chair and say "Thank you sir, may I have another", with a dopey smile on their faces.

Yes, what is fascinating is the fact that the Republican Party has accused the Clintons of using the Clinton Foundation to line their own pockets for many years- yet the Clintons Tax records, salaries, have always been transparent to the pubic, and every penny the foundation ever received or paid out were audited by all the legal federal and state authorities and the books always balanced down to 1 red cent. The Clintons never took a dime of that money for themselves.

Yet, Trump was caught red-handed doing all along, what Trump and the Republican Party were accusing the Clintons of doing.

That is a disgrace. And something the Republicans never apologized for.

Yes, Pro football is a business. And the fact is, Trump destroys everything he touches. His actions caused the entire WFL league to collapse and many professional sport and coaching careers were ruined, many investors went bankrupt, and the fans were ripped off all because of Donald Trump.

As usual, you have no idea what you're talking about. Trump had nothing to do with the WFL (World Football League). It played about one and one half seasons before going under. Trump did have a role in the slightly more successful USFL (US Football League) Which played several seasons before, likewise, going under. In both cases, these leagues failed primarily because they were in direct competition with the AFL and NFL who had a large lock on media coverage and the fan base.

Trump was only one of a number of team owners in the USFL, and while he had more than average influence, he was hardly the reason the league failed. In fact, his team the Generals was reasonably successful in the two seasons he owned it.

On the other hand, the NFL used their influence and connections to keep the USFL off television almost entirely. They eventually lost an anti-trust lawsuit brought by the USFL against them but by the time the fledgling league won, they were doomed by lack of fan interest.

So, your version is purely bullshit, although of late, the usual bunch of Trump haters have rewritten the history of this league to make Trump the cause of its demise.

No, it's because he put his businesses on hold essentially, he didn't have time to actively run them.

He went from about 4.5 billion to about 2.5 billion during his time as president.

Lies.

His businesses were on the decline again, repeating the exact same pattern as the past that lead to his string of bankruptcies.

Trump builds debt fueled empires that can do ok for periods but just like a person continually adding to credit card debt, eventually catches up to him.

Trump ran in 2016 not planning to win (that ended up being a surprise) but as a way he hoped would invigorate his brand, help him get more investment (from Russians, etc) and to save his flagging businesses.

Becoming POTUS just allowed him to slow the bleeding as suddenly his properties were being used all over by countries and corporations that had business in the US or interest in manipulating policy who knew enriching Trump personally (and Jarad and Ivanka) was a way to get favourable treatment from the Administration.
