It's the norm that Palestinians and Israelis kill each other and has been the norm for 75 years. Nothing profound for those who lived through most of the Arab-Israelis Wars, Palestinian terrorism and watched two airliners fly into two American buildings.
There are 1.7+ Billion Muslims in the world. The main threat to the Western world are the few million on Gaza, Lebanon and their Iranian supporters. The West Bank is a lot more mixed. Those small percentage of the world's Muslims are the nutjobs who use violence to further their aims.

Divorce laws, property laws, bankruptcy laws, and criminal punishments do not come close to covering the universe of ethics.
Right, it's not enough to say you have a code of conduct.
The Carthaginians, Cannanites, Phoenicians believed in and practiced child sacrifice.
Confucious, The Bhudda, and Aristotle wouldn't have even bothered being teachers if we didn't need to consider what constitutes virtuous behavior.

Which makes it confusing when so many Democrats and Euros support the October 7th massacre and want Israel to just let it go.
There's been some college kids, a few message boarders, and a couple of congressional representatives who seem to mute their criticism of Hamas, but Joe Biden is in charge of the foreign policy of the Democratic party, and he undoubtedly represents mainstream Democratic views on the middle east.
That time is past. Israel certainly did not let it go. Is Palestinian genocide a reasonable response? Gaza is being leveled and many more Palestinians have been killed than Israelis in the raid. Gaza will suffer for generations from schools, hospitals, and infrastructure being blown up. The citizens of Gaza were not involved in the raid. Yet they should peacefully accept what Israel is doing to them and their land.

There is no genocide just like all of those right of your own politics aren't Nazis.
Parts of Gaza are, indeed, being leveled since it's a fortress of terrorists supported by you, Europe and Iran. The IDF has been dropping leaflets for weeks to notify those about the bombings.
Probably since 1) the Arab nations don't care and 2) the Iranians only seen money for weapons and combat training.
Some, not directly. Others clearly tacitly supported the raid. The popularity of Hamas rose after October 7th. Palestinians like it when Jews are killed.

I don't think you've read Aristotle, Confucious, the NT, or Kant if f you think civil and criminal laws codes like property rights, divorce law, bankruptcy law , and capital punishment come anywhere remotely close to being a complete and satisfactory framework of ethics.

It's not everyday you run across someone who believes property rights laws, divorce laws, and capital punishment are a complete and satisfactory framework of ethical behavior.
