I think Trump should tap Tom Cotton. He's a "big hitter" and his personality - which is very earnest and measured - would make a perfect counterpoint for Trump's more "full-blooded" style.

Cotton really doesn’t bring any demographic group to Trump’s base, he’s just another white politician from a red southern State, plus he is a hawk on foreign affairs including aid to the Ukraine, not a seller with MAGA

Although Carson is considered a long shot, I can see Trump picking him, he would help him with Christians and possibly the Black vote, also is proven yes man. However, he is 72, another senior citizen on the ticket, and isn’t the most exciting personality
