Why do certain JPP rightists assume that leftists only single out Christianity?

Even Catholics don't fully fit the high-level guise of Christ I aim for but they aren't a bunch of cherry pickers whose actions often go in opposition to Christ. A big problem is how the faith in all denominations has allowed itself to be tainted with right-wing based secular political matters.

I don't recall seeing anyone criticize Christianity as a whole, other than to deny that they believe in that religion. I have seen plenty though -- and I do it myself -- criticize specific individuals who claim to be Christian, as well as sects like the fundies.

A very few here act on people for believing but one of them does it to troll fundies through. I've only ever dealt with one or two that seem to take you believing in God personal and desire to shut you down.

I wish this wasn't true, but it is. Sad to think that back in my day, conservatives were scientists, writers, thinkers, inventors. Now they support the thinking that science is bullshit and anti-Xtian, humanitarians are Marxists, and anyone who isn't marching in lockstep with them needs to be exterminated. Too bad they also supported guns4all, 'cause guess who else has them? :~(

Conservatives aren't necessarily stupid, but they're really susceptible to Fascism. So when Fascism becomes mainstream, their brains kind of stop working so that they can think uniformally.

I am not interested in fundamentalists of any religion.

I also make it a point to attempt to see the positive attributes of religious traditions; the core elemental tenets of their prophets.

Confucius: virtue
Buddha: compassion
Jesus: love
Muhammad: mercy
