Why do people obsess over abortion?

That's what their lips say but as soon as the kid is born they don't give a fuck. When the kid is 18, they will execute them for crimes or send them to war.

The real reason Republicans are against abortion is to control women and keep minorities trapped in a cycle of poverty.
 
Abortion has a lot to do with women's rights. It impacts the rest of their lives. It can wreck a chance to continue school. It can make a girl who is young and not ready psychologically or financially able, to raise a baby to have one. It is not a good start in life to force a woman who was raped to have a constant reminder of a rapist. It forces a girl to raise a child that was a product of a father, brother, or uncle.
This is not about a baby. Forcing a child to be born into difficult circumstances is not a blueprint for success in any of their lives.
If reds want abortion gone they should start a huge fund to support a child through to college. They should finance education for mothers and children. They should provide healthcare.
Such a fund would cut down on abortion.

So why aren't women standing up for their rights and taking all that into consideration.... being more careful not to get pregnant? There would be far less need to even consider abortion ...the termination of this too often carelessly conceived child...if they did that...

It cannot even be questioned that GOD is not only pro abortion, but very aggressively so, even for relatively minor issues, if you read the bible.


We can quote numerous instructions where God demands the abortion of a fetus/baby for a large number of reasons, and sometimes the mass numbers of abortions.

People who cite the Bible as their scripture are at odds with their God's will and basically telling him he is wrong.

Did you understand the post? It mentioned rape. And of course, a large part of the earth's population was a mistake. Teens are not exactly known for their ability to resist sexual urges. Sometimes, things go a little too far. Do you honestly expect the people on this planet to follow rules about safe sex? Yeah, sex-driven teens will make intelligent and adult decisions, like they always have.
Adults sometimes go further than they planned. The adult, intelligent, no-mistake world you want, does not exist.
Yes, they should have the power to decide their own lives. Your religious convictions should be followed, by you. You have no right to impose them on others.
