Political parties aren't social clubs.

Where did I defend her? All I said was that we get to own fast cars, big guns, etc. If you misuse them, there are consequences. If I misuse a large tree branch, there may be legal consequences.

There are over 48,000 gun deaths per year, and under 43,000 car deaths, so you would be wrong. The reason is simple, we have been working for decades to reduce car deaths, but not to reduce gun deaths.
The fastest lap speed at the Indy 500 in 1967 was 164.926 mph. Even the fastest race cars were not going 200 mph, much less street worthy cars.
She is being charged with reckless manslaughter, and I see little chance of her getting out of that. It is a felony, so she can expect to spend several years in prison.
