Judge declares PA voter ID law is invalid

Officials found guilty in Obama, Clinton ballot petition fraud

A jury in South Bend, Indiana has found that fraud put President Obama and Hillary Clinton on the presidential primary ballot in Indiana in the 2008 election. Two Democratic political operatives were convicted Thursday night in the illegal scheme after only three hours of deliberations. They were found guilty on all counts.

Former longtime St. Joseph County Democratic party Chairman Butch Morgan Jr. was found guilty of felony conspiracy counts to commit petition fraud and forgery, and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe was found guilty of felony forgery counts and falsely making a petition, after being accused of faking petitions that enabled Obama, then an Illinois Senator, to get on the presidential primary ballot for his first run for the White House.

Morgan was accused of being the mastermind behind the plot.

According to testimony from two former Board of Election officials who pled guilty, Morgan ordered Democratic officials and workers to fake the names and signatures that Obama and Clinton needed to qualify for the presidential race. Blythe, then a Board of Elections employee and Democratic Party volunteer, was accused of forging multiple pages of the Obama petitions.

"I think this helped uphold the integrity of the electoral system," the prosecutor, Stan Levco told reporters.

Democratic Officials and Activists Linked to ACORN Plead Guilty in Voter Fraud Case

A total of four Democratic officials and political operatives have now pleaded guilty to voter fraud-related felony charges in an alleged scheme to steal a New York election.

Former Troy Democratic City Clerk William McInerney, Democratic Councilman John Brown, and Democratic political operatives Anthony Renna and Anthony DeFiglio have entered guilty pleas in the case, in which numerous signatures were allegedly forged on absentee ballots in the 2009 Working Families Party primary, the political party that was associated with the now-defunct community group, ACORN.

The four have pleaded guilty to one count of various charges, ranging from forgery to falsifying business records, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Troy City Council President Clem Campana pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges including falsifying business records and illegal voting.

Numerous voters told Fox News that they were stunned that their signatures were faked on absentee ballot applications and ballots, which were cast as real votes in their names in the 2009 primary election.

Brian Suozzo’s absentee ballot application claimed that he was “at home recovering from medical procedure,” which he told us was not true.

“Someone took my signature and voted with it and I feel extremely violated,” Suozzo said when Fox News first broke the story nationally in 2009. “The whole thing seems dirty to me.”

Democrat admits role in voter fraud case
Ex-Troy city clerk avoids jail; agrees to cooperate with prosecutors
By BoB GARDINIER Staff writer

TROY -- Former Troy City Clerk William A. McInerney pleaded guilty Friday to a charge that he signed a voter's signature to a Working Families Party absentee primary ballot in 2009 to steer the vote to his Democratic Party candidates.

''I signed an absentee ballot 'Dametrias Banks,' '' McInerney told visiting Greene County Judge George J. Pulver in Rensselaer County Court.

McInerney, 47, who pleaded guilty to one felony count of second-degree forgery, is the first person convicted in a ballot-fraud investigation that began in September 2009.

Several public officials have been charged in the probe, and McInerney has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors. He will be sentenced to 90 days in a Rensselaer County Sheriff's Department work program and avoid jail time.

After the plea, Special Prosecutor Trey Smith said he would empanel a special grand jury on Sept. 6. This will be the second grand jury in the case.

McInerney quickly left the court, referring comment to his attorney James Long, who also declined to comment.

No Democratic officials were in court to support McInerney. The room was largely empty except for Bob Mirch, the former Troy Public Works Department commissioner and longtime Republican political operative. Mirch started the investigation in 2009 when he hired private investigators to interview Troy Housing Authority residents who told of being approached by Democratic candidates and party workers about absentee ballots.

Yeah, they threw him under the proverbial bus!

Oh gosh, another dishonest Liberal attempt to impugn busted by the truth.

And she wonders why I call her a dishonest dunce.

Right on schedule. You're a regular Greek chorus of insult without a single original thought. Do the other righties here really appreciate how dumb you make conservatives look? You've certainly honed your meager skill set to an art form.

McCotter's staff didn't commit voter fraud.....they filed invalid petitions to put his name on the ballot......that wipes out a third of your list right there......

oops, there go two more....

lol....these two were trying to show the system was faulty and got caught because IDs were checked.....(that ought to help your argument, right?).......

nominating petitions again.....dang, girl......weren't ANY of your examples, examples?.....

Moving the goalposts, are we? Go and read every single example posted by bravs and truth deflector, then get back to me.

And if you were being even a little honest you'd admit bravs' and TD's examples were overwhelmingly registration fraud, with 1-2 actual voting frauds included. And bravs was the one who first posted examples of registration fraud starting with #215, which you let slide until I responded.

You kids are funny the way you keep ignoring the bottom line, which is that a PA judge declared the PA voter ID law invalid. Not Michigan, not California, PA. Instead you're building a field of straw men and deflecting all over the place because it would kill you to admit that everyone in the country doesn't think like you, that voter photo ID should be legal.

"Nobody likes you". You're too fucking stupid to post on a political forum. No one is being harmed by requiring photo ID to vote. States have the Constitutional right to their own voter laws whether you like it or not. Take your emotional bullshit and cry and moan.

^ As I've been arguing all along.

What's that saying again, "the one who squeals is the one you hit"?

Carry on, squealer. :)
