One of the horrors of it is that it never really went away. They just put a different label on it. Freedom. Quite a paradox, isn't it. Such as the freedom in the early 20'th century to allow people from Ireland and Italy to immigrate here. To be exploited! When all you fools out there say that immigration made America great, you are really saying that exploitation through wage slavery made America "great." In that regard, I wish the U.S. was FAR less "great."
There is also a lot of crap being spouted about the negroes having been made slaves. But at least they were taken care of by their masters. Unlike when they were "freed." Where they had to fend for themselves. The same sort of thing is going on with sending U.S. jobs overseas to wage slave countries. The U.S. doesn't have to care at all how they are treated over there.
Here is another thing about the enslavement of negroes. To this day it still happens in Africa. So who is any negro here to complain about what the South did long ago. Also, what would the vast majority of negroes here today say if given one of these two choices. 1. To be living in Africa right now. 2. Their ancestors having been made slaves here. Care to guess which they would most likely choose?
Somebody in another thread said that in the South they have a Confederate Memorial day. I would have to look it up to see if it is true. But if it is, it is a holiday that every negro down there should be glad to celebrate!
