I could eat bologna, I have in the past, just outgrew it.
Nathan's are good. I love chili dogs with cole slaw, those were the days. lol
With cole slaw? Never heard of that. I do love cole slaw on a good BBQ pork or beef sammich though.

Don't you just love the fact that you can actually microwave a Nathan's hot dog- without it blowing up the microwave? LOL!
Yikes... seriously? People microwave hotdogs? lol

Oh, I love cole slaw! I love to put pieces of chicken in it, too.
Frisches Big Boy has the best cole slaw here, they have their own sauce
LOL! You can actually make steamed hot dogs in the microwave. I do that all the time for Matt. Wrap a hot dog and the bun in a paper towel and nuke it for 30 seconds. Voila! Instant steamed hot dog!
I love casing hot dogs ,but hard to find them around here.
Those are pretty good. We also have the red hot dogs up here, too. Matt used to love them on the grill.

Well, I am sorry about the Tiki thread. That sucks that someone ruined it. I thought that we were all supposed to be adults here? When did it become cool to be obnoxious?
My theory is that if psychologists did a robust statistical study, they would find that there is almost a perfect correlation and match between people who have grim, miserable, unfulfilling lives and posters who use the anonymity of a keyboard to indulge in anti-social behaviour, unrestrained belligerence, lying without conscience, obsession, bigotry, sexism.
For some weird reason, jpp dot com attracts more than its fair share of these lower life forms.
My Mom made a dish she called "Spanish rice". A stuffed green pepper in a lake of rice and tomato sauce. My Dad usually got the pepper. My Grandma made white rice with butter and cinnamon every Sunday morning.Mason: "I always wanted to try Jambalaya, but don't you have to go to New Orleans to get the real stuff?"
Jack:No. It's pretty common around here. South Louisiana has lots of rice fields.
(fyi: I pronounce it like it is spelled, with a 'Jam'. down here it is pronounced 'Jum'. Like: Jumbalaya. my kids make fun of me)
Mason: "You didn't eat rice?No Chinese Restaurant in Southern California?"
Jack: Rice wasn't part of my diet at home. Rice would come out of a box. Like a Tablespoon, or 2 Tablespoons.

I just read the Tiki very careful, it seemed to start out fine.
But then one poster started calling that thread the "nice thread".
Grumpy said to stop, comparing that thread to this thread.
One poster took that as a challenge to Grumpy 's authority.
And started to push the "nice thread" issue to the end.
With a couple of other posters jumping in.
I guess that's when Grumpy had, had enough.
Never heard of red hot dogs,it's funny the different things available in different parts of the country!
Down here in corn country I can't find corned beef, like is in the jewish deli in Toledo!
