trump Perma Banned From Twitter! Be Best

Hello Darth,

There is no such rule. Give this incident time to really sink in. We have just witnessed a defining moment in history. Another Day of Infamy. I don't think it can be brushed off quite so easily. 1812 and 2021 now have something in common. The only two times the Capitol was overrun in a siege. The honorable United States of America Senator Cory Booker pointed out the similarities of the attackers quite eloquently:

“The parallel between the two is they were both waving flags to a sole sovereign, to an individual, surrendering democratic principle to the cultic personality,” Booker said. “One was a monarch in England and the other, with all the flags I saw all over the Capitol, including in the hallways and in this room, to a single person named Donald Trump.”

If you're talking about the Trump movement then I agree. Downhill is the only place all this Trump fervor is going. There are now only three kinds of Trump supporters. Those who have given up on him, those who are going to, and those who will remain completely out of touch with reality and cling to something that is not real. The movement will die. Trump and Qanon will become synonymous. The rest of society will not think of them highly.

Nobody who wasn't already a Trump supporter is going to become one now. That movement is going to bleed support until the only hangers-on will be kooky people like Roger Stone hanging on to Nixon.
Agree. To your latter point, I'm hoping that the media will resist the temptation to whore themselves out again for the ratings. The nation should go trump silent, save for Fox who will always be his safe space.

Trump isn’t nationalist populism—he was just the leading exponent of it.

In fact, I think Trump needs to get out of the way if for no other reason he’s such an easy target. Trump should stand down from running again and play king maker.

As bad as it was, the comparing it to Pearl Harbor is a bit over the top. In fact it was almost farcical in a sense. Who goes to an insurrection dressed up like a Viking? Did the Brits stop and take selfies when they ran on the capital? Did security stand aside and allow them to waltz right in?

But I understand it’s politically expedient to maximize it in order to marginalize the movement to the greatest extent possible.
You can say this because the 11 napalm bombs were found before they could be used, as well as the pipe bomb/bombs.

Us, comrade dookie? Nyet, son. Trump doesn't reach out. Trump doesn't use diplomacy. Trump negotiates deals, and then takes his cut.
I'm quite sure there was never a 'reaching out' to anyone but his base. In fact, all of his rhetoric attacked those 'who didn't vote for ' him.

He didn’t even call to check on Pence during the edits. He was trying to call Tuberville to delay the vote. We know this because he accidentally called Mike Lee, who could happen because he was being moved to a safe place. Unbelievable!
He was loving what he saw. He had to be forced to make the first 'I love you' video. Later, he was held hostage and force to make the second video.

Fuck me, I have to agree with Opie. Trump could easily play king-maker, but he's burning down the throne room. He's headed for a complete meltdown.

I also tend to agree most didn't go to the rally for insurrection. Trump called them then told them then he lied his ass off to them to incite them to take their country back by attacking Congress:https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/donald-trump-speech-save-america-rally-transcript-january-6

The nut jobs did as he asked.
Many years ago these words of wisdom were shared with me re. my adolescent stepson and the one black sheep in his group of friends.

"4 good kids and 1 bad kid easily turns into a gang".

Good kids would never dream of committing certain acts. Once the seed is sown, anything can happen. trump sowed those seeds as far back as December when the announced the rally, and said 'it's going to be wild'.

What the fuck did he think was going to happen?

You'd make Vladimir, Lenin, not Putin, very, very proud Dookie. You're certainly a good Soviet agent to the core.

We can agree on the problem, but I strongly disagree that Trump, or Lenin, is the solution.
China 'stole' nothing. Our corporations did nothing to change their business models in the last 4 years.

There is good money to be made off sensationalizing his stupidity & evil, not sure they'll go along w/ that very far....

Could we even do that here??

I mean go an entire day or three +/- w/ no trump threads, not replying to any trump threads & no mention of said villain in any conversation??

Or even reference to him w/ his usual accolades, the beast, the liar, the con man, the loser, the big fail etc etc etc........

Would be tough but we did it before he was around.........

The mantle is there for the taking—someone just needs to step to the plate.

Whoever wants to represent populist nationalism [Trumpism] will get Trump’s 73 million votes—including, Trump’s increase in minorities. Progressives fear this, the duopoly establishment fears it and the globalists fear it.

Keep in mind Trumpism wasn’t exactly rejected down-ticket in November. Those were all republican wins—running as republicans in Trump’s Republican Party. If anything was rejected it was Trump *the person* and not Trumpism itself. Lefties concede as much when they claim TRUMP was the reason Biden won and won with such a big turnout. Nobody gives a shit about Biden, Biden was just a placeholder.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s obvious that Trump has done his work but now needs to get out of the way.
Wrong. Those were Republicans who rejected trumpism. Voting Republican has nothing to do with trump's policies. No nationalist will get trump's base. They're his, and he isn't interested in sharing. Without his nonsensical rhetoric, these people crawl back under their rocks and never vote again. They never voted before trump.

That's not reality. Wednesday changed the entire paradigm.

People are already switching their voter registrations in droves. The GOP is now the party of chaos - they are back to square one and have to completely reinvent themselves to win back voters and get back to being a viable national party.

They followed Trump down the rabbit hole, and now they're dealing w/ the consequences.

Trumpism? I mean, there ain't no future there. Trump and Trumpism have solidified their place in history. And it's not good.
I believe that most Republicans who cowered under trump's reign will now return to standard Republican politics and never utter trump's name again. The small handful of delusional trumpists in Congress will be disregarded.

trump voters don't vote if he isn't on the ballot. They certainly won't come out to vote for trump supporting Republicans. They didn't in Ga. earlier this week.

Well again, that is NOT what the down ballot success of republicans indicates. If Trump AND Trumpism were rejected then there would be evidence of that in the election results. Trump would have been beat and Republicans would have lost a bunch of seats to democrats.

How do you explain that?
Once again. Republicans rejecting trumpism.

Trump is rich, but most of it is assets. Forbes puts his current fortune at $2.1B, down a B after fucking up the COVID response.

Please don't confuse the fact that Trump loves to spend other people's money. He's a showman and a terrific snake who fleeces his fans for their money. Think of him as a Televangelist for Satan. He's rich.
That's exactly what he is, and exactly what Wednesday was all about.

He just didn't care enough to read the room. And, Rudy the Drunk should already be in jail for what he did on Wed..

Discussion of trump is a bit different. I do see the media covering his crimes and court cases, though. We're going to find that he was much worse than the media knew once the 'classified' crimes are unclassified. He did a good job of hiding everything by falsely classifying his crimes on top secret servers.

He's destroyed documentation of same. We just learned that there was a previous phone call to Ga. in order to change the election results. There are volumes of things to be learned.

I just want the media to go radio silent on trump's daily barrage of garbage, which won't be hard given the aforementioned.

Thank goodness he didn’t get a second term
I've been thinking that every day since November. Can you imagine? He was emboldened after the Senate refused to hold an impeachment trial. With no care about re election, he would quite possibly have destroyed the entire world.

Failure is the only thing that he's ever succeeded at. Ironically, in the '16 election as well.

There seems to be less trump after about a week after the election & up till his recent rally to incite the attack on the capital & fleck his political muscle & show the political leaders he has "tuff" friends ready to die for him.............

In a few days Biden will have a few more than he does, as well as every governor in every state...

trump went silent as he was suffering depression after being soundly rejected. He regained his composure and remembered that he laid the groundwork in July for a campaign of voter suppression claims, and the noise began again.

Remember...he was calling for the election to be called on election night, weeks before the election.

But yea...it was nice and quiet for a while.

Trump would reach out to Satan if there was money in it for him.

Rudy the Drunk, like Kyle Rittenhouse, may soon find himself drying out for several years.
