as i've told MM numerous times....he is capable of rational and civil debate.....in fact, i have told him more than once that i miss his debates where he actually debates instead of sinking into his intensely personal insult fests....

Yurt, the President is also traditionally the leader of his party. Hope this information helps. You still have a good point about the lack of diversity in the rest of the upper Democratic echelon though.

that interesting.....why is it never formalized....and instead this murky tradition that even the democratic party won't mention on their website

perhaps is it....because..........last i checked, the president was the leader of the country, not any one party.....you know.....three branches stuff and all and why both parties rail against those who claim obama (or whomever is president) is not their leader/president.....

central coast california....nothing like a cold margarita when its over 100 degrees out....we broke two temperature records this week....not the overall high temp....but for the past two days....

its so hot, i went outside, jumped in my truck, went to the beach....hot there, but a wee cooler, came home to...............the next best thing to slice bread............AIR CONDITIONING

i love it too....but when it is this hot....nah....i don't like being inside on the weekends, drives me nuts....i sit in an office most of the week.....and the weekends are for getting out
