Or other ppl really DO have a subscription to the NYT. Even with a paywall you can usually read the first couple of paragraphs. In your article, the source is linked at the beginning of the 2nd paragraph.

What's that saying about it being better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth (or keyboard) and remove all doubt?

In principle, I would choose lying in dire straights, like lying to Nazi soldiers about where they can find Jews.

It's remarkable how quickly and easily lies flow out of the mouths of some people, even when there's no reason to lie. Who the eff lies about having an NYT subscription?

Weird that he would devote his life to complaining about the American Democratic party from the depths of authoritarian Thailand. My Russian acquaintances never complain about domestic American politics; they know that Putin is much worse.

I don't think the barely educated realize how much work it is for a busy professor to write up his assessment of fourty five American presidents.

I think a 26 percent response rate is perfectly reasonable to expect on something like this
